Lets face it, the more we see the new shrts the more we will like them. The more the team wins whilst wearing the new shirts the more we will like them. What we will never like is not getting proper replicas of the players shirts. The new home "fans" edition is basically a baggy t-shirt "fashion" item.

My view has been aired; however, I agree with this. I like both the kits this year and feel that they thoroughly represent Wire.

I apologize if i was premature in saying people don't know what they want but do you not think you are being a little close-minded?

I like that we aren't constrained to a white shirt with red v (If you remember a few years ago loads of sts fans were moaning the v wasn't deep enough) That is how constrained that shirt has become, or that we don't have people deciding on pink shirts with jizz blobs down the front. What we have are people designing unpredictable but well designed shirts; that always incorporate the spirit of Warrington with the primrose and blue colour scheme. And to top it off, this year we have a classic shirt with obvious nods to our heritage.

That Help For Heroes camouflage thing was possibly the ugliest sporting kit I have ever seen.

To develop an earlier theme regarding the lack of a traditional Wire kit.

1 - there is no standard Wire kit. We are 125 years old. We can't create one now by choice. That stuff is created over time by custom and practice.
2 - I assume one of the main (only?) reasons we rotate the style is that it will help sell more and lets be honest, that is rather the point.
3 - if we DIDN'T have a different style, some would probably get bored of the same designs year on year.

As an aside, Im at a loss why people get so cross at this at what kit we're wearing each year. It really isn't that big a deal.

Two things firstly I am not one to ridicule a fellow Wire poster because you like I wear the P&B and secondly I do wear the most Primrose & Blue glasses available and so I am very very biased in favour of the club.

But to suggest that the 'Clubs publicity department underwent a complete clear-out' just because you don't like the 2012 Club shirt is pathetic.

Agreed. If you don't like it, don't buy it, but don't make ridiculous comments. Why would the club's 'publicity department' want a complete clearout anyway?

why dont the club as a publicity stunt get isc to mock up say 6 designs for home kit and 6 designs for away kit and put it to a vote by the supporters as to what they would wear and have the voting at the game as you walk through the turnstiles so the real supporters get to vote and maybe back up with an online vote on website or in club shop then they would guarantee that they are making the shirt the majority of fans would want to wear therefore buy and put money into the shop and the club just a thought

but i may be the odd one that actually quite likes both kits

I like both kits - and think as a "one off stunt" in principal this is a very good idea - unfortunately it won’t stop the moaners when their shirt design isn't picked!!

I personally didn’t like last year’s home or away kit so I didn’t buy it - however I will probably purchase both this year!

There is a better picture of the replica shirt, modelled by Gareth O'Brien in this weeks League Express. Still not as good as the players version though.
