Not too sure about the first bit of your statement. After last night Leeds are in the Last Chance Saloon and will really want to prove something. I would suggest that the Wigan squad get their gum shields checked this week, because next Friday Leeds will really want to give it to them.

Let's face it, Huddersfield were awful. They couldn't hold on to the ball and in the first half their right hand side of defence might as well not have been there. Wigan were pretty good, but they were helped by Huddersfield's ineptitude.

They are way out of form, commitment yes, but the form and arguably the quality isnt there this season

Our pack got on top pretty early, so it was never going to be easy for them. They obviously missed brough massively and were pretty devoid of ideas when attacking though

Everyone has said that they missed Brough, but he wouldn't have filled in the huge holes in their defence. If they are missing him that much then it's the end of their season.

Jeez we've been lucky that 2 sides in the past 2 weeks have been terrible against us with us playing ok. We'd have been hammered out of sight if Saints or Huddersfield could have been bothered.

As for the truth we were again very good and didn't allow them to get into the game. We dominated another good pack and the backs got loads of space on the back of that.

I'm convinced on the evidence of the past 2 weeks and longer then that in your cases that there only us who can stop you winning everything this year and vice versa.

I'd be surprised if there's another teams name on a trophy this year.

Sam Tomkins is a massive player for the pies, the best broken field runner in the game by some distance.

However he has a Richie Mathers about him in that he is good for a crucial defensive error ......(Pie eaters wont admit it but he isnt the best defensive full back in the league or at Wigan for that matter)

Forget Saints because i agree you made them look crap by being ruthless but today you can't take all the credit Hudds looked well off the pace, i thought that and all of the commentary team thought that.

That was not the Hudds of the last few weeks, not by a long way.

i agree they're not the same team we played earlier in the season imo.

They were poor but we were also very good and didn't give them room to move. Their pack has been brilliant this year but we dominated them and that meant their backs had no options.

As it stands us and yourselfs are cleary the best 2 sides. I don't see why some of our fans will try and make excuses when you play well and the same for some Wire fans who refuse to give us credit when we play well. I'm secure enough to praise Wire when it's due and will openly admit you've been the best side in the comp this year.

I with you, i came on the Pie site and gave credit and instantly got flak from Wigan Peer because i dared mention Hudds were off the pace, last week you murdered Saints lets not hide away from the facts and yes this week you got on topof the Hudds pack but i think if you'd lowered your intensity levels you'd have still got on top of them, they looked tired today and no one stepped up.

Credit were it's due, you beat what's in front of you.

wigan were good they made hudds look bad its as simple as that,similar to our performance at wigan and leeds,,i know its hard but you have to give wigan credit..it now looks like the league game at our place could have some bearing on who lifts the league shield..

Wigan dismantled Huddersfield from the off, they were vastly superior. You simply have to acknowledge that. In the same way that we went to Leeds and took them apart, and we had very ungracious comments about Leeds not turning up etc, it's very silly.

On their day [Warrington & Wigan, they have the ability to give anybody in SL a good hiding, when it all comes together.

All this is true, but it only takes a Huddersfield win against us, or Cas to beat us or Wigan (none of which is outrageously unlikely) for the top 3 at least to be wide open.

we was rubbish wigan was good simple as that, i am not to fussed bwt saying we are out of finishing top i mean 2 points behind but obvs the table must lie the way your talking about it, making out we are like 6 - 10 points behind but i was only bothered bwt getting into the top 4 top 2 was a bonus

and ruling us out of old trafford because we had 1 bad game in june is pretty funny. we didnt play well but i think our players will bounce back and with brough and LOD returning in the near future we are capable of beating anyone including you for a 4th time in a row

No played it back on Sky + and it was definitely hair. Crabtree tried to get the referee to do something about it, maybe he should have just planted O'Loughlin instead.


Oh and re; Huddersfield and the we will beat you four times in a row, we will beat them when it counts without doubt.
