We should get Kelly Shelford in as a dietician and smuggle him into the match day 17 on a crafty one.

My money is on this lineup. Smith always seems to favour Cooper at loose when Westerman isn't fit. The rest seems an obvious pick to me, unless Smith wants the persevere with Dagger to build up his experience - he likes to give youngsters a run of games when first introduced to the first team.

Clark has always played his best rugby off the bench(Cas)...he did that last Saturday(vs Cats) and Dwyer looked lively starting.
Why change a formula so soon?...especially after the diabolical we've seen many times this season!
The only tinkering to the winning formula would be to bring Clark on 5 mins earlier...Just before the substitution last sat, Dwyer was beginning to burn out and errors entered his game.

Ratchford for Dagger and Hiku for Hughes look to be the only natural improvement team swaps from last week's line up without changing the winning formula unnecessarily.

Well from the write up coming out of the Guardian it looks as though Dagger will be playing. Good choice, even if he does make a few cock ups it will give him some great experience. It does make for an interesting question though as to where Ratchford will be playing.

He was asked where he liked to play. He said his preferred position is Fullback but after that he prefers Centre.

I expect him to start at 2nd Row and move to Hooker when Clark goes off, with Ratch moving to centre so Gidley can play at Loose with Savelio covering Fullback off the bench.

I think what he said was he'd played mostly at full back as he was growing up, but not so much since he turned pro. Then went on to say full back and centre were his preferred positions.

To be fair the rest of your post suggested that he was bound to be played anywhere but his preferred position so Alffi7 made a reasonable point.

He's been doing it all year either in our twenty or the oppositions twenty. Grix is getting a lot of grief for the balls he's dropped recently but England is worse.
