Agree - just looking for them both to get hold of the game and tear the opposition apart. Not an unreasonable expectation for two marquee harves but absolutely nowhere near.

You could see it all unravelling in the last 20 mins of the first half. All the advantages were with us and we had a paltry 6 point lead. The try at the start of the second half just confirned what we knew was coming.

The last two games we've dominated yet the opposition have been able to wrestle the initiative and turn less posession, less play and less ability into a win.

SL 2021 prep should begin in earnest right now, starting with a pack of "Sorry you're leaving" cards.

Totally with this. Anybody who has faith in Fitzpatrick, Price and his coaching staff need their heads examining.

Moran needs to spend his marquee money on a coach. You can bring in all the name players you like, but if the bloke coaching them is out of his depth then you are doomed to constant failure.


P.S. I'd like to come back to this at season's end and eat humble pie - I highly doubt it will happen though.

Look at my posts over last couple of years and I’ve said many times it starts with Fitzpatrick, he recruited Price and I’ve no idea how Briers got a job, that’s another question I’ve asked in the past what is it he coaches.

Sounds harsh but I really don’t believe that Price is particularly bright or has any leadership skills.

I certainly wouldn’t hire him if he was sat in front of me coming for a job

God knows who gets a CEO position after doing a course at the local tech college.

I actually asked the question on another thread just a few days ago, asking what Fitzpatrick's qualifications for our CEO job were. He was a mediocre player, never coached at the highest level, and has zero connection to our club. I genuinely wanted to know the reason he had got his job.

It was rather telling that nobody was able to provide an answer - I don't think there is one that makes sense.
