I remember thinking Roy was vocal after a few of the tries.

Just watched the footage and Ashton must be our Captain for 2016

Great video that, love players who wear their hearts on their sleeves and he certainly does that. Really starting to warm to him now. Along with Hill he is starting to become one of the first names on the team sheet. He was excellent yesterday.

Much appreciated mate great viewing that. Guy seems a natural leader and motivator. Just hope if we do get to Wembley he ain't in charge of picking the suits.

The Beeb deserve a massive congratulations for the mic.

It was good with Peacock, even better with Sims.
As the season has gone on I've become more impressed with Sims.
He started off well and then went down a little with a few on here saying he was a second rower.
The last few weeks even though the team has been playing pants, he hasn't (and neither has Hill).

His punditry on the beeb today was very good and he'll be doing the same in the semis for the Leeds Saints game.
Keep it up both off and on the field Ashton !

A nice bit of promo for Sims. He's got tons of passion and a big gob on him. There is a difference between that and captaincy. I do like his aggression. I'm in agreement with duckie. He does need another stone on him (at least). All that "huff and puff" wont improve on size. Hill takes 3 men with him, and still makes a few yards extra. Sims seems to get put down a little too easy for my liking.

Don't get me wrong though, I am a fan. I can't fault his effort.

How did he not get M.O.M. yesterday? He was leading all over the park, he even went to acting half-back once.

It's kind of easy to say the right things when you know you are being recorded isn't it.

Roy Asotasi on the other hand gets nothing but criticism from you lot, but he was very good at the weekend again.

Yes, he has been well worth his £200k per year on that performance alone. Ok, some may criticise and say is it really worth it when he only plays 30 min max per match but they are only being churlish.

I have counted 6 on this post alone. I think "critique" was the wrong word to use.

I have more important things to cast an eye over your posts and look for errors. It's minutes of my life I'll never get back for doing so.

Sims and Hill were fantastic for you men on Saturday, I think that's where u won the game. How Hill is not in the NRL is beyond belief!!

Of course it was genuine from Ashton Sims, his 'team mates' would have been laughing at him, if he was just being like that because he was 'wired up' !! Guess the one thing on his mind about it, would have been "must try and not swear too much"...assuming he does !!!!

Because maybe he sees a bigger picture, unlike the union traitors and those desperate to get famous like Big Brother contestants by going down to Aus. Maybe he sees that if players like him stay in this competition the higher quality this competition will be, the more sponsors this competition may attract, the higher the salary cap could become, and therefore the better this competition becomes further...

Also this is a fantastic country we live in. Why trade that for hot sweaty weather, snakes and spiders that can kill you, box jellyfish ready and waiting in the sea and bush fires?

I wish people in RL in this country would start to want a better domestic competition rather than shipping off our best talent to those Brits in the Sun trying to be Americans to enjoy, while our competition flounders by the year.
