Indeed, if we had concentrated on the Wigan game at home and won it (we lost by 1 point), or maybe just made our conversions, we would have won the LLS with a home game against Leigh or St Helens then the Grand Final....

Would like to know which fans they talk to, some of the comments on those players don’t tally with what I’ve read from fan comments on here and other sites.

I think he will kick on for you this year, I really like him and most overseas players have a bit of an up and down time in their first year or two, then settle in and step up to be the player they can be, looking forward to the contests with him this coming season.

The Vaughan rumours of him going back to the NRL, or going to Leigh were exactly that, rumours.

His agent hasn't done him any favours by leaking a made-up story about the Eels wanting to sign him to try and get him an extension. He won't be at Warrington in 2026.

He’s the best prop in the team although Yates is my favourite because he gives you 90% all of the time, not 100% half the time.

What?? Why is Yates only giving us 90% each time he plays? If that’s the case I want him out ASAP. By season end he’d owe us one at least one full bloody game at that rate…..though I am impressed at his skill to withhold exactly 10% on every game day.

I think we'll see a dominant Vaughan this year. If he wants to stay with us he'll have to put it in to earn a new contract. And he wants to play in the NRL or another team here he'll have to do the same thing. Even if he's thinking of retiring he'll want to go out on a high, i think he'll be great this year, and i don't think he was bad at all last year either.
If Yates plays at 13 this year i think it will take pressure off Vaughan and Harrison and make it easier energy wise for them, as he does so much work.
Vaughan, Harrison, Yates, fitz and Currie, with Walker and Powell at 9 is looking really good.

Will Musgrove be looking to impress? Don’t think we have seen him out of 3rd gear so far tbh

With Wood sure to improve and maybe Thomas finally coming through - Musgrove is really going to have to impress to stay in the 17 and put himself in the shop window.

Yeah he's just a steady prop who gives our better props a breather basically. Not seen anything of what he was like in the NRL which would have been a big bonus for us. Like someone said on here a while ago, sometimes overseas players don't hit their stride until there 2nd year, so i'm hoping it's the same and hit takes it up a gear next year

He has a baby that would have kept him up at nights sharing the feeding and or nappy duties.
It does affect life structure, and may have had an impact on his game.
Hopefully a 2nd season may be better as you said.
