| Quote ="Cokey"Hi eW, I fully respect your opinion on the the final standings next season because you are totally entitled to that . I would also like to point out that you guys are going into the unknown with hopeful performances straight away with all the changes you have made. It's also worth noting that you need to gel pretty quickly early doors, and this may or may not transpire especially after your poor run in last season . If this doesn't turn out the way you want it to (and i hope it does for you tbh) You will end up in a difficult situation. Yes Leigh have had to make changes, and also added quite a few quality players also, but the culture at Leigh (which as changed dramatically last season(for the good)) has carried on into this next season, and the winning mentality, and, the bonding, togetherness is still there. So I personally think your prediction is pretty much skewed on than that basis. Could I be wrong in all this? Of course I could.
'"
Well you’ll be pleased to know I couldn’t really decide on the last four, I only put you bottom of that four as it was the easy option based on history. Hope it works out for you guys and no hard feelings.

| Not many non-Wire fans would have us higher than 6th (or too many Wire fans for that matter). There’s an expectation that we can’t be as bad as last season but also a feeling that Powel is yesterday’s man.
In predicting the 2023 table you need to look at last season and ask yourself, club by club, what has changed?
Despite a change in head coach Saints remain the team to beat. The appointment of Wello isn’t going to be a repeat of what happened with Cunningham. Wellens has had a few seasons learning his trade and he’s ready for the step up.
Wigan were looking good under Peet, and they have a winning attitude, but their key strike weapon last year was Field and I got the impression that other clubs were beginning to get a handle on him by the end of the campaign. They’ll still be up there but a few injuries could see them slip.
Huddersfield had a good year and now it’s a question as to whether they can sustain it / build.
Catalan seem to be going backwards and maybe McNamara has reached the end of his shelf life?
Leeds had the best final quarter to the season of all Super League clubs and Smith has turned them around. They’ll be aiming for top 4 but I don’t think that they have the squad to challenge for top 2.
I see it finishing;
Saints
Wigan
Leeds
Huddersfield
Wire
Catalans
The rest
Leigh should be more competitive than Toulouse were last season.

| I was right about us and Wigan, very wrong about most of the rest, especially Leigh. Fair play to them they've had an excellent season.

| Quote ="KineticRL"Honestly it was just a feeling at the time. May have them higher on second thoughts but at the time I was thinking about how much their season tanked.
They were great for a lot of it but it fell off badly. Also, I think a lot of other teams below them have made noticeable improvements to their squad... But of course, on reflection I could and probably should have put them higher.'"
Credit for the prediction of Huddersfield finishing 9th.

| For me surprises were how good Leigh & HKR were & just how Hudds & Leeds struggled. I suggested 5th for Wire but really hadn't a clue how we'd go. Our start to the season was a bonus but disappointed in the end.
