It's not up to me how we're going to play so I'll let Smith worry about that, but the more I think about this, the more I really don't want Wires to be the team that lose to Hull at Wembley.

I've got nothing against them - and I was right behind them in the 2013 final - and I stand by my posts where I would swap absolutely anything for a Grand Final win. That is 100% the one I want. However, their first win at Wembley is going to be remembered for a long time and I don't really want us to be the famously defeated.

I'd be surprised if man for man that Hull's pack is any bigger than wire's. Taylor and Pritchard are the only 2 big men really although Green is tall but he's not particularly heavy for his height. Our massive pack is a bit of a myth really although our outside backs aren't small

so ellis and watts aren't big ok

Its not just our forwards which are big, you only have to look at our wingers Talanoa and Fonua who are massive backs.

Not particularly, both under 110kg's which is where most RL forwards are

I can see our biggest problem will be allowing Hull to make too many yards on their six tackles & us having to start either in the wrong part of the field with our sets of six or kicking off from the halfway line.

Our attack on Saturday was off the cuff and reactive to errors by Wakey and their inability to control, our fast ruck speed. Hull will be more structured in their defence and make far less errors. To beat them we will need a different method of attack with more structure . Hopefully this is where Kurt will come to the fore. Chrissy will be the icing on the cake of our attack on play 4 or 5.

Interesting fact: the KCOM pitch is the same width as the Wembley pitch and only slightly shorter.

People are talking about hulls pack and sandow n gidley the whole team has to perform hulls pack will not win the game on their own and neither will gidley n sandow. Its a very interesting match up and I don't think what has happened in our league games will have any baring on the final.

I guess we will have until the 27th to speculate then it's down to those on the pitch to make it happen. I think this has the potential to be one of the best cc finals in a long time.

Both teams are well capable of winning it and hopefully it will be a classic final (and we win)

I understand luck of the draw but you have played Oldham, Widnes and Wakey to get to the final where Hull have had to play every team in the top 5 to get there, St's, Catalan and Wigan. After that build up I think the cup has our name on it this year (just like 05) maybe this year is our year not yours?

There were no problems, or to put it another way I didn't encounter any problems v Hull at the Hudd's semi mind you they did win, no problems this year away at Hull either mind you they did win.

As an outsider watching most games available this year I'd say although you lost to saints it was probably a loss to learn from.they (saints) drew you into a messy niggle forward dominated game which was the only way they could win.poor backs but a very big physical pack.they have gone back to basic rugby league and started winning again . probably similar to what you will face at Wembley. Smith will know what to expect and I think it comes down to matching hull in middle.afain enjoy it and good luck
