I thought I was the only one thinking this.. Defence from Rhys is superb.. Attack is very mediocre from him so far .

Looking very good at the moment . The stand out centre in the league.

Atkins is a simple Centre, and plays best when he can play a simple game. He's not a Watkins who can create something for himself from nothing. He needs Sandow/Currie etc to create those openings for him. Because of his sheer athleticism, he only needs half an opening to get away. When he's playing with confidence, he's a very good centre.

He's back to his form circa 2012.

As I've said many times on here, before, attitude counts for a lot in this sport. I never saw Morley disinterested in many games throughout his career, hence he spent his time at the top of his game. I've seen Atkins have months, if not seasons, simply coasting, and we've (quite rightly) let him know the fact.

Play to (and try to exceed) your ability, you'll go far.
