Didnt get a hattrick. Scored twice. Had a fairly good game apart from the stupid error which led to their try, which, sadly underlines exactly why he is being replaced.

Glad he didn't let the Hodgson stuff affect him in a way it would have done to others.

mathers probably could have caught this high ball, but palmed it back and it would've been straight into rileys arms except bridge stuck his arm out and got in the way.

I was sure mathers only got one try and that myler got two . The very first try was scored by myler but announced as mathers.

Someone behind us shouted that Mathers was '' after the incident but it was the same lad chanting his name after his 2 tries........can't win can you.

Not sure what all the fuss is about? He signed for the club for approx 18 months with the club having an option for a further year. Should they not want to excercise there right to take up the further year then whats the problem? Both party's new the agreement when they entered into the contract!
