Isn't this statistically incorrect? Excluding psychological issues, the past cannot influence the future.
A bit like on the roulette table where there has been a streak of red for 8 spins. It cannot affect the outcome of spin 9 yet muppets lump on black.
A more indicative predictor of the win/loss will be the relative quality and form of the respective squads. |

No it isn't, it has absolutely nothing to do with a game of chance.
The rules goes against the grain slightly...but the home team always has an advantage where the margin between teams are close.
All bookies know this and it's reflected in the early markets.
..however, there seems a psychological difference where Wire have the upper hand away in the Wire vs Saints fixture while Saints have it at the HJ. |

I said excluding psychological issues and you then cited psychological issues in your suggested proof. |

The problem with someone like Roberts is that the decision was made very quickly, so the realities of a move half way round the world haven't been thought through. Gidley on the other hand probably had a move over here in the back of his mind for a long time, and had thought it through properly (with his family).

i don't think it was made very quickly, though i do think at the time we were being used to improve his contract from the titans, which didn't seem to work so he signed for us, and obviously he ended up back there anyway. |

Your whole point was that Warrington win most games at LP. We’ve been at LP since 2012, therefore in this case only games from the 2012 season onwards are relevant. I then responded to your next point that we have a winning record at HJ because we turn up on the day. Think my eyes are fine! |
