It's a bit of a stretch to call Paul Wellens a fullback. Brown inherited a terrible squad of players, thoroughly average in all departments with Soliola, Lomax and Roby the only genuine talent at Saints now. He could have done a solid job, like Simmons and Rush did and could probably have got Saints into 4th or 5th. I think Brown made all those changes to spur the board into life. McManus stated when the stadium opened that we would have a squad worthy of gracing it, then delivered this rubbish. He started this season stating he expected us to win the Grand Final as we have the squad to do it. Hopefully he's realised where we are in terms of the squad now.
