Don't know if it's already been mentioned in this thread, and I don't normally bother with rumour threads, but if this had been agreed before the weekend, surely both clubs wouldn;t have been happy with signing a cup-tied player, and I expect both fullbacks would have been 'injured' at the weekend.

I don't see why Paul Wood would be bragging about attending a press conference when one of his current team mates were to be shipped out to another club to bring in a new signing.

He's contracted until the end of 2011 according to our site. Also, when he signed it was on a two & a half year deal ?
Perhaps the last 12 mths of that was one of those 'option for a further 12 mths'. |
