Agree about Williams.A massive disappointment considering what he’s earning.

Williams has no tactical kicking ability, he's a good player but that's not one of his talents. Why oh why is he kicking on the last every time when he simply can't provide any effective tactical kicking! We are clueless in attack, the effort is there but they're just improvising constantly.

The kick chase is embarrassing, they're steaming down the middle unopposed really, again the line speed is awful. Thewlis is injured now which is massively unfortunate for us.

Moore is once again showing how appalling he is as a referee, there have been some very, very dubious calls especially in the soft pens which ruined the game.

Credit catalans they're just better than us and fully deserve the win.

Leaving out dean was a big mistake our kicking was better with him, I hope Williams will be singled out by Powell for hopeless kicking this week. Dean, thewlis, wrench and longstaff would be the first names on the team sheet for me for the rest of the season, it's a write off anyway, let them have as much time to develop as possible.

I won't be disappointed with a whole new pack next year save bullock. Philbin isn't a prop he's an impact second row, more and more I feel he's been thrown to the wolves in the front row he isn't big enough for it and makes no impact whatsoever. Why did we re sign Jason Clark? Again the youngsters were our best performers.

This. If I had one question only to put to Powell it would be "You publically criticised a young player for his kicking game yet his replacement failed to find touch, grass, split the full back and winger or deliver anything other than laser guided kicks to hands. Happy?"

I'm not sure Powell is the right man, our kick chase and line speed have been awful all year, these are basics, but they're fundamental within successful sides if he can't instill basics then that's a worry, dropping Dean who has been our best half this season was a massive error as well.

BUT, don't forget how boring and poor we were under price, I would say that steve Price is the worst coach I've ever seen including plange etc. Price had a full salary cap and a lot of good players at the peak and he wasted the opportunity. The rugby we played was appalling, if we went a score down, we lost, the toothless attack is a hangover from price but I also don't understand why Powell can't change it?

Yes, it was awful to watch under Price other than two glorious games against St Helens and we were dreadful in knock out games after his first year, but what was hiis overall win percentage? We certainly won a lot more than we lost.

My post was over-emotional but I can't identify a single area of improvement. The only sources of any optimism are Wrench and Thewlis, and I don't think Powell can take much credit for them.

I think individually a lot of players are doing alright but there isnt a team there at all, it's all completely disjointed (like it was under price in all honesty). There are too many 1 man attacking moves and that just shouldn't be happening.

We need some big changes in personelle, we will have plenty of cap, squad and overseas quota space at the end of the year but I really don't fancy our chances of recruiting well to replace what will be leaving given KFP is involved in that process.

Thought Thewliss, Wrench and Ashton did well. Showed how raw they were thiugh, after making a great break didn't then know what to do. Who was supposed to be leading the team around the pitch, who was setting up plays. Looked very disorganised, which meant a decent effort brought little result.

This is the problem, we have no identity. We have no hard men, we have no metre makers we have no leaders, we have no defence, we have no controlling half backs and we seem to have no plan to make the best of what we’ve got. The only thing we have is the youngsters being very good - take a bow Thewlis, Longstaff and Wrench and for crying out loud build a team around them. I was up for giving Powell 2 seasons but IMO he has until the end of this one because this is really REALLY poor

I can’t begin to quantify the point of Oliver Holmes. It’s like he’s here for a holiday. He was pretty handy at Cas. Never have I been so wrong about a player as I have him. He’s not even bang average.

Completely agree. Don't underestimate what counts as a holiday if you're from Cas though.

Bang average are words we can use for quite a few of these players at the moment but I’ve said it on many occasions our recruitment is nothing short of shocking.Thurs could be a new low.
