As a Wakey fan, yes I know, for some reason we won three games against you, I know what watching poop is from a squad who most days, don’t seem to give a fig. I think Houles looked slightly beaten after the HKR loss and I hope you put 40 past them, selfish reasons too. Obviously, if we survive, there is no contest who I would prefer to visit a refurbed Belle Vue. 1000 Wire fans or 4 Toulouse fans!

I agree, but I'm not enamoured with Mulhearn and Harrison as the starting props. Of late, they just din't seem to get us on the front foot from the off.

Pack yardage last week was a big problem. Mikaele and bullock make us look better when they come on but Harrison is too light at the minute and mulhern is not a great meter maker. We had to kick from deep most of the time, which would be fine if we had a half with a good varied kicking game, but we don't. The halves that we have really need to be kicking from the 30 or closer to be effective IMO and we find it very difficult to get them there.

I don't really think it is, not had the best run in defence not helped out by the whole team not really defending, but I think a few games out won't do him any harm. Powell has kept him in the team after a few iffy games I think now is a good game to give him a break and maybe some time to work on areas Powell thinks he needs to improve on.

We cannot call out a coach for having irreplaceables and then not be happy when a player is dropped for having a few below standard games.

He has no problem dropping the players he didn't bring from Castleford.

He was left out against Huddersfield for having a few below standard games, reinstated last week, in which he was one of our better performers, so to drop him again would be a bitter pill. Top meter maker, made one of our two clean breaks and looked lively and willing on the ball.

Wrench struggled on kick defence, but all round game was good, worked hard and no errors as such. I do think Thewlis would be a safer bet than him in truth.

The worst performer in the backs last week was Wardle. Multiple errors, no significant yardage. But I expect him to stay in the team. I think Ashton, Wrench and Thewlis are in hat to get dropped, which is a shame as they are our high energy players.

As has been noted on other occasions, the fans are behind the team, but the team seem to forget that they are there to provide rousing entertainment for us to cheer and have a good sing song. The continued utterance's from the coach and now our latest signing show that their backs are against the wall, they should stop insulting our intelligence and come out fighting. Clearly they do not like that we are intelligent enough to know when we are served garbage and we let them know.

The fans have been ripping it up in training so I’m expecting a big performance from them tonight.
