| Surely we all want Wigan to win don't we? Isn't the received wisdom that it is impossible to do the Double in this day and age....?

| I'm officially writing Leeds off. Wigan have better players, are much better coached, and are in great form. Bookies odds reflect that.

More accurately, I think last year was seen as a 50-50 game.....Our supposed weakness against the big clubs was seen as our possible downfall, however, to counter that, we were above them in the table and in decent form.
This year, its very difficult to make an argument for Leeds....Their form is patchy (against the bigger clubs, its downright awful) and Wigan are on a bit of a roll.
Wigan will have to have a huge off day for Leeds to come out on top....Even Wigan at 60 or 70% will win this.

Behave yourself, Wire weren't written off by just about everyone outside of Leeds.
I still can't believe Leeds went in to the game as the bookies favourites, but was very glad as the payout was rather pleasant.

| From a biased Warrington point of view , i would like
to see the draw, no extra time or golden point at
Wembley, and the replay would be next wednesday
at Sheffield United just a few days before Wigan
play Warrington.
In reality unless Wigan have an off day and Leeds
come up with something they haven't shown all
season, it could be a blow out match , Wigans current
form and confidence is high.
I am going to the game so i just want a good match
and i hope the result is decided by player skills
rather than the officials.

| Wigan will have to play like Clowns not to win by 20+ against a poor Leeds side. I'll actually go for the Pies by 32. By full time it'll be 52...

| Wigan by plenty, not even a contest.
Sam Tomkins already won Lance Todd even if he does bugger all bar one clean break.

| Quote ="oli30045"I hope that Leeds win with the most controversial try in the history of RL, with Peacock knocking the ball on and it rolls 5 metres forward, but Bentham calls play on. Then Brent Webb picks up the ball and throws a pass to Ryan Hall which is Tom Brady esque, putting him 30 yards further forward. Ryan Hall then picks up the ball, elbows Sam Tomkins out of the way whilst Danny McGuire have single handedly taken out absolutely every player in back play, leaving the whole team on the floor apart from the chasing Pat Richards. Hall then starts running backwards flicking the V's at him before being tackled and held down for 10 seconds after the hooter. But, Bentham then says that Hall is not held, he gets up, throws a pass to Kylie Leuluai who dives over the line but drops the ball in mid air. Bentham decides that he has grounded the ball easily and awards the try without going to the video ref. Leuluai then jumps in front of the Wigan fans and throws the ball at a 5 year old crying Wigan fan. All of the Ultras then start crying into their meat and potato pies.
Final score: Wigan 18-20 Leeds'"
I would happily sell a leg, to see this happen. (Not my middle leg, mind)

| No one thought we would do that to Leeds last year in the way we did, they had beaten us twice already in the league.

What are you basing that on ?
Is it because Wigan beat our under strength side in the cup ?
Personally i'd prefer to base it on the match in the league where both teams were close to full strength and we beat them convincingly away at the DW, in that quarter final would Wigan have beaten us if they had the equivelant key players missing that we had ?
Losing Morley, Harrison and Briers is the equivelant of them taking us on without Finch, Coley and O'Loughlin, we then lost Solomona as we looked to be taking a grip on the game, that would be like them losing Hoffman.

| Would love to see Leeds make a game of it and go into the last 5 minutes with the game still in the balance, but can't see it happening.
I'll be surprised if the game isn't over as a contest within the first 20 minutes and as long as Sam Thompkins[size=85*[/size manages to get his name on the teamsheet he is a dead cert for the Lance Todd.
[size=50*Yes, I know[/size
