| If he wasn't fit enough to make a cameo appearance against Swinton then I can't see GI being ready to play against Hull a week later. That would mean Mamo staying at Centre and either Ashton, if he passes his HIA tests, or Thewliss taking Lineham's spot on the wing. Presumably Widopp, Cooper and Hughes are all back so then it's a question as to whether Davis can displace someone, probably Walker, in order to get a bench spot.
For all Ashton's potential and pace it still means disruption to our, to date, single attacking edge.
We all know that we've got a Footy team here, let's hope that they've gone really well in training this week because that's what matters.

Hull will be setting themselves all week expecting a flowing attack from the right with swift pass, players drawing their man and dummy runners leaving the oppostion in two minds. This is when we'll surprise them with a radical 5 drives followed by a high kick to Toby King move.
Hull won't see it coming.

| It will be a good test of where we are, but won't be a defining game this season. Pity that I won't be able to watch it, but will stick the radio on.

I think it's probably a good test for both teams. You were disappointing against Cas, bounced back well against Leigh, but then it's only Leigh. We have looked great but our opponents have been pretty disappointing both games. I think this game will give us the best indication yet of what we might both be able to achieve this year.

| Hull will grind us down and beat us up, i'm not expecting a win at all. I'd love us more than anything to turn them over but the old clichè of inconsistency is still rife.

| I'm certainly not as confident as you lot are, for a Hull win, the last two times you have played us at the KC you have given us a good hammering.
You still have the players to hurt teams, particularly in your spine and Currie looks back his best, so your left edge is very effective, although our right edge with Saveilio, Tuimavave and Faramio (or Fonua) is very strong.
As others have mentioned we have looked good in the first 2 SL games, but both opposition didn't play that well (or maybe we put them off their game) and this for me is our first big test, missing Reynolds is a blow, hopefully Sneyd will be fit as we looked lost 2nd half without his calming influence.
Shame it isn't a TV game or cannot be purchased, in a sport that is short of money and exposure it's crazy that you can't buy individual SL games.

You've hit the nail on the head there. There's a live stream happening, there's potentially thousands of people (including me) who would make a one-off payment to watch it, but they don't allow it. Absolute madness. With decisions like that, it's no wonder the sport is in trouble.

The problem was giving Sky exclusivity to all live Superleague games. They won't be allowed to open it up to everyone.

Yep but ... if they have got the rights to show the game. Surely they can receive a cut of any income from those who watch v Our League. Everyone's a winner.

Exactly. You would think that every effort would be made to enable people to watch matches during these special circumstances, for the long-term good of the game, but that clearly isn't the case. If it is down to Sky saying 'no', then it doesn't reflect very well on them at all.

They have at least allowed the games to be made available to season ticket holders. I can see both sides of the argument, but I agree its a shame they can't come to some agreement for this. It's only for a few months until stadiums open up again, sky get a cut of the takings. You'd like to think something can be arranged.

| I don't know if I have got this right.
So if you are a Hull FC season ticket holder you can watch the game on the our league app?
I get that warrington season ticket holder would have to pay because it is an away game but it makes no sense that they can't open up the broadcast to whoever wants to pay to watch it.

Is that right, I thought you would get away games also if you are season ticket holder.
I've watched all our games do far via the league app, even Salford away (although it was played at St Helen's, it was still classes as an away game)

| With Inglis and Lineham unavailable looks like our back line will look something like:
Ratchford
Charnley
Mamo
King
Ashton
Austin
Widdop
Can’t say I’m confident of us getting a result, although we tend to travel well over at the Hull FC ground in recent years, they seem to have abit more about them under Brett Hodgson.

Missing Reynolds, Ligi Sao and Manu Ma'u, so missing a bit of grunt and experience

| If we have actually formulated a plan to use both sides of our attack the game could be good one . You would think there would be enough nouse in the team to put on a decent effort & work on their own ball handling "skills" & brain farts without needing to be told how to approach a game by the manager.

We're the Derek Zoolander of Rugby League. He can't turn to the left, and we can't pass to the right.

Did you learn your lesson?
If so, don’t be lumping on FC again. In the same way a light pack Leigh was hammered by Wire, we have the same scenario coming up at FC facing a full strength Wire minus Lineham. I don’t count GI, he’s a bonus player.
When your gambling money, there’s no such thing as form. It’s all about preparation and ability.

Good point. I must admit I can't ever remember walking off a pitch (as a player) thinking to myself "that flamin' coach has lost us that game". Never ever. Players don't think like that ... they blame their own actions.
