I think Sally is making the point that there would be limits to a ‘win at any cost’ mentality. Yes, joining with Saints is a step too far, obviously, but you can extend any argument to absurd levels.

If a winning team is all that matters then how does that fit with supporting the Wire? Genuinely interested.

I can only answer that question for myself. But if you’re going to swap teams you’re not supporting a team, you’re just saying ‘my team won’ at the end of each season.

Sally is right, there are limits to ‘at any cost.’ I think for most that would be within the rules of the sport and for it to be our WARRINGTON team. I think that’d be a pretty broad interpretation of it.

Why not, they gone into lockdown mania in last couple of months. Boris Johnson gave them more power to do so.
