I think its complete balls. There is no mention in there of us or the fact that he had just signed a 3yr deal. My bet is that interview was before he signed for us.

I'll be gutted if he gets a move somewhere else, he will fit in to out team very nicely. Bottom line is though we will get a transfer fee and should be able to get another player in his place, no matter how dissapointing it would be to never seem him in p&b.
