Philbin definitely had an uneven game. Hit good lines but the end of them he fluffed it up trying to offload, don't blame him for the last tackle play, it's not his job to kick. Not sure he can be blamed for the no try either, he had the ball held just fine, Turner punched the ball out and they're lucky Flanagan got to it before Russell.

Harrison ran his blood to water but lord he looks so unfit, half the time he might as well be running around on stumps with the way his legs are holding up.

Slapped his own man on the back nothing in it. No point moaning we lost that ourselves but we're certainly looking like a top four side and a quality half back away from winning the comp. We've more chance of a trophy this year than saints I'll wager.

We had has blown chances to win the game but I think we were flat out to win it, it looked like Saints never had to get out of 2nd gear, and the players looked like they always knew they would win it. Just in the same way we always did in 2011.

Did Saints win 2 points tonight, or the Challenge Cup final? Their fans seemed to celebrate the latter. Beating a team by 6 points that they should have blown off the park after that inept 1st half display. Is that what it's come down to? Wow, how far have they fallen celebrating that kind of victory in the way that they did.....

We certainly wouldn't be getting chufty badges over the Challenge Cup. It's the reaction any set of fans would make winning in the final minute at a rival club. We didn't play well, bar Roby, Walmsley and Masoe and to pinch the win was fantastic. Mentioned on Sky we only had 1 (ONE) play the ball in your 20 tonight and we won the game. Guts, determination and pride in the shirt, all things to get the fans pumped.

Saints are the better team TS had let our team slip over the last 3 seasons. We were flat out trying to win it, which is good to see, but highlights out weaknesses.

I thought Childs had a good game personally. Rampant indiscipline in the first half hour, it would be hard for anyone to argue with the validity of the vast majority of those decisions. Too many hands in, knees in at the play the ball.

It was slightly strange, but other than that not much of an issue. Not sure what he was intending to do with that, but the contact was on poor Greenwood.

im not overly bothered.... we were brilliant tonight... on another day with a few decisions we would have won the game.

for me, this season hinges on the challenge cup.... i think we really can win it now.

the 1st forward pass he blew for from dwyer was a little harsh seen plenty of them given , wasn't to be our night i guess 4 times over the try line to be held up forward pass or ball knocked out , another game could of gone different , suppose Chris Hill is a sore loser too he even said post match interview to many 50/50s went the way of the 's
