As our first choice half backs are injured I don't think there is any other choice bar Monaghan or Currie at 6 which would be pushing it. I suspect it will be almost the same team as v Doncaster but with Monas in for Dwyer and Harrison possibly in for Riley. Hope Penny gets a shot again against SL opposition.

Like I hinted on..TS said (guardian) it's unlikely Bridge will continue at hb after Bradford.
TS has track record of not rewarding form.

Bridge has added a dynamic go forward. But now we lack a presence along side him.
GOB is out of depth and looks like a spare part.
I'd go with Ratchford and Bridge in the halves.....
These two together might paper over or help ofset what is the bigger problem

Asotasi is lazy and although England wants it...he is a crock.

I would also like to see Bridge with Ratch, but I still think this won't be enough. Bridge seems to be in some good form right now, but we conceded 3 penalties for crossing today and (again) I don't think our kicking game was up to much.

I agree on the prop front. Hill can be almost a one man pack sometimes, but he can't bear the full weight of our go forward every single week.

Hang on, hang on. At the start of the season weren't we bemoaning the fact that we had a trojan-warrior like set of forwards who were dominating the opposition, defending for their lives but the backs had no penetration.

Are we now saying, actually we look ok in the backs but the forwards are sh*te, whereas before the forwards were great but the backs and halves were sh*te?

Perhaps the truth is that the backs, forwards and halves haven't collectively performed to their capability in one single match this season - possible exception of Good Friday, Widnes performance not withstanding, when we saw the fruits.

We look crap everywhere bar a small core of guys.

I mean the only game this season where our team manned up was perhaps the one game they went into it thinking we are gonna get beat anyway so let's just not worry and just play, was against leeds.

I've been thinking about this for a while. Hill s truly world class and I think we'd have a tough time keeping the NRL at bay if we were champions, let alone the way we're headed.

This worries me, as you say he is world class and if we lose him we will really struggle. I am depressed now
