| Think Wire were really arrogant in not taking the 2 at 16-16 in front of the posts after only scoring tries from kicks, we really built off that.

| Sverwood was poor at times for both teams. We were brilliant defensively and Warrington attack was poor. You scored of kicks (very good kicks may I add). Hull was deserved winners IMO. Warrington will bounce back well because they are a top team. With Ellis getting fit, Westerman and Tickle to come back along with young Aussie half Jacob Miller coming across, don't write us off!

Do tell... After that performance it wouldn't surprise me. A couple of my highlights:
- not going to the screen for their first try.
- not giving a penalty after they liked it out on the full and briers took the quick tap only to be tackled before the 40m line by a hull player still running back.
- forward passes x15 (or so)
- no offside when ratcheted knocked on leading to their try.
Notwithstanding the above - hull wanted it more and stepped up. Superb kicking game in the 2nd half.

Didn't you score after Monaghan poked the ball out of Ogre's hand and that pesky Silverwood gave you a scrum ? And how many forward passes did you throw in the last 10 minutes ? Should have been 6 tries to 3 not 5.
Great game of SL well done to both teams.

There was that, but I don't think it would have made a difference. All academic now of course, but Hull deserved the win. Also from my understanding Lineham should have had that try early doors allowed too.

If you think the ref cost you the game you are too blinkered to be objective. The "push" on Atkins was a soft decision to not allow the hull singers an opening try. The constant chirping in the refs ear, the appealing for decisions like a spoilt soccer player. The reef by MM not given. I could go on, but I think the point has been made.....

I think I win hands down. Judging by the posts on here, our loss had nothing to do with FC being the better team on the night, or us saving ourselves for the GF. The loss was due to Silverwood's bellow par performance, the chicken chocker.

15 forward passes! What a brilliant load of make believe.
Silverwood was as bad if not worst for us. Especially in the first half.
It was a great game of rugby league between to quality sides. Best team won.

| couple of dodgy decisions from ref but when isn't there, no complaints from me about silverwood, hull won the game for themselves
thought wire put up a decent show but on the night we weren't good enough to beat a very impressive and commited hull... massve credit to hull and the speccies who came over not easy doing the full 62 on a friday night!

Great game of rugby league on show tonight. Best team won.
Got to say though, you looked tired towards the end.

Decisions only become big if a score comes off the back of it. You wouldn't be bleating if Hull had bombed any chances off the back of wire errors / fortunate calls.
Wire didn't take advantage when fortune looked on them, Hull did.
That's the game.

| Full marks to those Wire fans who say Hull deserved the points. That's as well as we've played all season.
Fair comments about Silverwood who, to me, is a very poor official who has shafted us on quite a number of occasions. I'm sure he'll play for you before the season is out.

We have been waiting for that for years - maybe one day! Bring back Ganson - best ref by a country mile. That big ginger one hasn't shafted us either (yet) so get him out the championship!

And, unfortunately, as well as you will play all season. Just my opinion.
I think you'll drop off from here. I'm not too despondent about the wire performance tonight. I thought we dominated for large parts, and could have won the game.

| No doubt about it Hull deserved the two points. What worried me more was how tired our forwards looked. For the majority of the second half it took till the 3rd tackle for all out players to be onside. A big fan of Waterhouse but he looked spent and should have lead by example more.

| A few of my "pearls of wisdom"
We blew a 10 point lead, to end up with a 10 point loss. TOTALLY UNFORGIVABLE. Especially at home.
Why go from "devil-may-care" RL, in the first half, with the ball thrown round with gay abandon, to "one man up the middle" tactics in the second (and then throw away the game). I'm baffled. It turns out, we do have a plan B, and yes, it's crap. We don't suit down the middle rugby.
Chris Riley. Boy is he out of form. He just doesn't look comfortable atm
Atkins' MotM. Got to be a laugh, surely. Twice, in the last 10 mins, we put a bomb up, and Young Freddie Mercury brushed against someone and said "after you, Claude. I'm terribly sorry, I almost got in your way" GET IN THERE, YOU TWONK. YOU'RE A 6 FOOT ODD BLOKE. COMPETE FOR THE ####ING BALL.
We have two ageing hookers. FFS, put a bid in for Houghton. He rarely has a bad game whenever I see him. The lad's an unsung hero. We couldn't contain him, tonight.
Cooper. I'm sorry, but why does an Aussie side want him? I know we have a lot of Aussies doing bar-work in one of our major city's (London). Are the Aussies trying to buck the trend, and get Englishmen to serve Toohey's in Sydney?
Well done Hull. Best team won.
If we lose many more games, we'll be looking at an away game, when it comes to September's play-offs. I wont be overbrimming with confidence.
Come on, Wire. Sort it out.

So then why on your last 5 or 6 sets did you never look like scoring and had to resort to hopeful up n under's,mind you in all fairness it was only kicks you scored from.

Pretty much sums up the game. You were the better team. I never thought we looked like scoring, and to score we had to something special, which is a credit to FC's defence. I thought you deserved it, and I said so much to your fans leaving the stadium. However, I think you've peaked, as good as it was.
On reflection, I think tonight will be the highlight of your season. You wont win anything, and a good away win will be the best you will muster this season. I will take the game at your place a couple of years ago to my grave.
Well done FC

| We should have won by more.
Not a bad result for us considering we were missing Watts, Westerman, Tickle, Galea and Arundel.
You'd probably have gotten more from Siverwood if your players weren't constantly in his ear moaning about something or other, you reap what you sow.
