The drop goal, regardless of what TS thought, was the right play at that point in time although we were never in any danger of losing the game. Completely dominant performance in very poor conditions.

I don't think anyone is slating Morley. The observations were that our 'go forward' diminished when Carvell and Hill went off. In previous seasons that has happened when Moz left the field. To be fair, he is just returning from injury and I still expect him to play a huge part in our season.

In answer to the original question, it was an 8/10 performance for me. 10/10 for the first half hour, then free-wheeled from there on in.

After last week, we should really consider our low error count a positive response. The emphasis was on control of the possession and we absolutely achieved that early on, never let Leeds get a foothold. If there was a disappointment it was the second half kicking game, it was as poor in the second half as it was good in the first.

Even a team in as poor form as Leeds are will pose a threat on wet night with Rob Burrow in the team, and in the second half they improved their performance. We won't win every game inside the first half so we need to keep working at the things we did well last night so that we deliver for 80 minutes when we have to.

Top players for me were Briers, O'Brien, Riley in the backs, Waterhouse, Westwood, Hill and Carvell in the forwards.

I was very pleased with the Wire's handling tonight & considering the poor conditions both teams should be praised for giving us a very entertaining match. The pitch looked very good as well.

IMO Morley is a shadow of his former self and needs to be released at the end of this year.

Carvell, Hill and even Cooper are easily ahead of Morley these days.

Most of his attempts in recent times have either been high or off target all together. Im afraid that he looks a little off the pace these days.

If we had stopped ing about with constantly kicking on the third tackle when just ten metres from Leeds' line and gone through hands we would have scored another two or three tries easily.

We were good last night but nothing more. We weren't perfect in the first half like Sky suggested and we weren't poor in the second half like Sky suggested.

We need to iron out a hell of a lot before the play-offs but it was pouring down(!) last night and the Leeds backs played well (they're forwards we're embarrassed by our power up front) so it wasn't an easy game to score 37 points in by any means... but had we gone through hands more in the second half we could have scored two or three more.

Not a big deal though. We won, two points, next...

Tony Smith blamed himself in the interview after the game saying that 'the coach' making constant changes meant the team could not do as well as it might. Bit bizarre.

Hightlight for me was Carvell running the ball in straight at Peacock and smashing him backwards.Think it was in the first few minutes of the game.Bailey up to his tricks again,trying to pick on Higham most of the game.Higham i thought did a good job again.

Couldn't go or see it last night, but many Morley / Peacock detractors have appreared here.
Suprised about some of the flack they're getting.
Both are still pretty good imo. Don't write them off half way through the season.

I'd probably go for something similiar. I may have the PnB specs on and replace Hill and Mossop but I reckon that is similiar to what a lot would put down.

Watching Graham last week he is a level above the other players.
