This all depends on the coaches willingness to move Tomkins, and Russell's continued development.

As far as I'm aware Tomkins has more assists than tries so far this season and yet people make out like he doesn't have a great passing game. His killer pass and all round passing are fantastic as well as his running skills.

Hodgson was a great great player and still is a very good player.

If you asked me now, I'd take Tomkins, but if it was Hodgson in his prime vs Sam now, then Hodgson.

I've seen Hodgson in his prime, and I'd take Tomkins every time.

Both are very good players and Tomkins could become a great.

I really hope he doesn't go to Yawnion but if they offer him a mountain of cash and chance to play in front of 80k blazer badged toffs, I think he will go
