I did say I'd rather have Carvell. I do believe that Lynch is an excellent prop though. He has shone in, frankly, drivel Bulls teams. I think if he given a go at a big club he'd put his heart and soul in like Moz and Gaz do.

No, not at all. Peacock has only played a handful of games this season because of his long-term injuiry, and Carvell has been in awesome form throughout the year.

I'd love to see him sign a new deal. Realistically, in Super League, we won't find a better replacement than Garreth.

In all seriousness, I think Carvell is rivalling Graham in the impact-on-a-match stakes. Graham has been overly used this year (and last and the year before that) While Carvell comes on and appears to just steam roll teams. I agree whole heartedly with you, there is no replacement in super league for Gaz. If we can keep him for another two, I think we'll be on to a good thing.

Listening to the Wire FM commentary tonight, Ben Harrison said that Joel would be having surgery next week, and would then be out for a further four weeks. Not good news. On the plus side though, he said he was recovering well from his own injury and was targeting the game against Hull KR in a fortnight for his comeback.

Well the diagnosis is four weeks after his op on Thursday so not too bad.

With Joel and Evans out for a month, Riley on loan and Williams getting injured tonight, we could be struggling for wingers.

Paul Wood wasn't risked - he's not injured and will be fit for next week (he said on his Twitter!)

Hopefully it's the same for Rhy's Williams as we need everybody for next week.
