Amazed, it only holds 13350, thought it would sell out for sure. It is their first home game for a fixture that has proven to be one of the most entertaining of previous seasons.

Yep I've seen that too. Maybe if we'd have been given more tickets from the start, the crowd would have been higher. Some of our supporters would have made the decision not to go when it was announced that we were only receiving 2500.

Would Wire fans pay £23.00 for a seat in the South Stand then?

Why not its £25.50 in north stand our ground so a cheap ticket for some £23.00

Okay. Since Saints fans are whinging about it, then will be about 2000 more seats available for Wire fans in the South Stand! Selling on the gate tonight. Get down there and grab some!

God knows. I'm as baffled by it as you are. When at Knowsley Road I stood with a group of lads who I didn't know outside of Knowsley Road, we just stood together for matches. One of them was really annoyed that we were playing at Widnes this season - like it was Saints who caused the credit crunch that delayed our stadium build or something - and would be 'picking his matches'. I got very cross with him and we had an argument! They annoy the hell out of me but they are there and there is sod all that can be done about them. But they'll all be in the pub tonight, no doubt with their Saints tops on, boozing away forty quids worth of beer and no doubt commenting upon how few people turned up at Widnes (which will no doubt make them feel great about themselves!).

Some would yeah. My point was that if we were offered say 5k tickets at £18-£20 each from the start then I think that we would have sold them all as we have done at KR recently.

And I'm really not having a go at Saints fans as we get roughly the same number of people through the turnstyles each week (It just takes us a lot longer....). I just think that the Saints club will need to work a lot harder for similar crowds to KR. That will need to involve an attractive pricing policy & distribution for home and away supporters.
