| Quote ="Jungle Jim"Probably a taste of what to expect next year with the price increases for 2011. How many people will not renew their season tickets?
The smaller Premiership clubs have reduced their prices to a lower level than the Wire (and that is for 19 games too!)
Perhaps the club needs to have a rethink!'"
I don't think the club are in a poor financial position to have to reduce season ticket prices significantly or to have a marketting campaign i.e. the Bulls pledge or what the Giants did a couple of seasons ago. Although I agree that a price feeze may have helped. In light of the two cup victories I think we must be confident to increse season ticket sales again for next season.
Where clubs are offering reduced season ticket prices their attendances must be falling or steadily poor, the Wires average attendance has improved this year with the improved performance over the last 18 months.
You quote premier league sides but no figures. The cheapest I have heard of is Wigan Athletic with the cheapest adult price of £250 rising to £295 which is still more expensive than the Wires prices (albeit more matches) cheapest £191 rising to £266 but remember the CC cup free games tokens, subsidies for Magic weekend etc and free entrance to away games for the kids. Now consider the value for money that the Wires have given season ticket holders this year compared to Wigan Athletic for example. So all things considered a season ticket for the Wire is the cheapest way to go if you attend all games and good value compare to premier league prices.

| It's not just Warrington though,it's a problem throughout the game here.Play off games are notorious for attracting smaller gates than that of the home teams average league attendance. The system just doesn't capture the imagination of the paying public for some reason.

| The problem with the play off is that the further you progress the more you end up paying. Hence since folk have already paid out for a successful Challenge Cup run, then I don't really blame them for keeping the money in their pockets occasionally.
Do any supporters really want the Grand Final playoff format?
I'd much rather take the winner as the table topper at the end of the rounds, rather than the belittling league leaders shield currently awarded to the most consistent side of the season.

| the thing is with rugby League fans they are pretty much $hit for supporting their Sport.
I mean a sunderland fans will think Nothing of travelling 5 or 6 hours to watch their Crap team play a crap sport against even worst opposition on the $hitty south coast and pay a small fortune for it. and will go back again in a fortnight....
Rugby League fans want the Cruaders out of Superleague beacuse its more than half an hour away....
League's a Great sport its just got $hit fans

| I picked my daughter up from Liverpool Airport on a delayed flight. I arrived at the ground to find every turnstile locked. I ran round to the office only to be told they had closed. I had to plead with them to allow me in. I got on the ground just has Huddersfield scored their third try.

| Quote ="Dropkick Murphy"Absolutely embarrassing. That was the biggest game we have played at the HJ and our biggest league fixture in many a year yet the only people who seemed interested were Huddersfield fans. Okay they didn't fill the West Stand (or anywhere near it - I was in there and we had plenty of room) but by comparison to their usual away attendance it was a good two or three times the normal amount.
Why could we not fill our ground tonight?
I'm not even talking about the Wembley 30,000 here as we all know half of them are interested in finals and nothing else, but what about the regulars who have packed the ground out with bigger crowds than that all season? I appreciate it was short notice scheduling and some people might not have been able to organise time off work or whatever, but anyone moaning about the ticket prices (how DARE the club charge the same as they have for every other game this season - scandalous eh?!) or saving their money for week three (good plan eh?!) should be embarrassed to call themselves a Wire tonight.
Before anyone who really couldn't attend starts whinging - pack it in, I'm not talking about you. Any regular match goers who COULD have gone tonight but CHOSE not to though - hang your heads in shame because you let your team down.
People on here talk about expanding the ground? Pfft - try turning up when it matters first.'"

| Give over. What has the crowd got to do with our loss. I'd say poor performance and conditions were to blame for it.

| It happens at all clubs, take a look at Wigans attendances for the play offs, I REALLY don't get it though, people who have stood on the terraces week after week during the season and then when it comes to the Play Offs "huge games in reality" they go and stay away Who are these people, We all get them, (St Helens / Wigan / Leeds and Warrington)

| All the corporate seats at the back of the East stand were empty. Why?
Booing at half time was shameful after the season we have had.
Reminded me of the days when Paul Cullen was coach.
