Although this does give the pies abit to think about who seemed to think everything was perfect because they were 1st.

A few random thoughts from that game

1) Tomkins is along with Eastmond the most naturally gifted player to pick up a rugby ball from this country for many a year. If Macnamara has half a brain (debatable) he has to pick them both with one of them at FB in the autumn.

2) Wigan fans (who walked out of that ground tonight early) do not deserve to have a side sitting 4 points clear at the top of SL with 2 games to go.

3) Keith Mason may get 2 weeks rest before the play-offs start.

4) Fielden's emotions possibly cost Wigan that game.

5) Why have we signed Brett Hodgson?

6) Are Wigan bottlers? They have lost 3 crucial games now at home against Saints, us & Huddersfield where they dominated for large periods of the game, and at Leeds in the Cup when it was a similar story. Could be that they have lost the ability to perform in the big games which could be very interesting come the end of season...

Seriously though they are going to finish top. Would have been funny if they'd planned the League Leader's Shield presentation for tonight...

so two seconds of 11 ppl leaving. so we round that up to 76 = 9 X the number of people (11)
then we work out how many people would be leaving till the end of the match. no one scored so we will assume no one stayed ( it is more probable that more people left closer to the time, but again i will give the wigan Pie "supporters" benifit of the doubt) that is 4 mins = 240 seconds = 120 shots of 11 people leaving = 1419 people leaving before the hooter. That is shambolic.

Or we can assume the visual evidence is poor and take the word of all the commentators including Wigan's biggest fan boy Phill Clarke and assume the Pie supporters do what they always do and left early. The worst supporters in SL. Actually makes me sick.

Bad performance today, I think if we HAD to win the game, we would have.

As for Wigan being Bottlers, done the double over Leeds (battering them at Headingly), beat Saints and Yourselfs Away, hardly bottlers only game we lost that concerns me is the challenge cup game vs Leeds.

Surely a worry for Wire is you dont seem able to beat Leeds or Saints?
