I've never really underrstood the need for people to correct spelling or grammar mistakes. Just tend to put it down to superiority complex.

However, is there any chance we can ban text speak?????? I may sound old and miserable but it's incredibly frustrating having to decipher it.

What is a clique?

Spelling mitsakes aren't an issue. It's people having pops a others for no reason or as another poster said "taking this place too seriously".

I think it is how some people (not me) term the group of posters who constantly lament the quality of this forum as if somehow it would be better if it was just themselves able to post. They often believe this group to exhibit frequent intellectual arrogance and hubris based on a wrongly held belief that this forum was "theirs" before the exodus from Wolfweb. This group are also suspected of holding other posters in contempt especially if they are not as able and intelligent as themselves. The group are also suspected to have images of dogs, typically beagles, in their avatar which they bring out, from time to time, as their little private joke.

However, I do not believe there to be any clique.

I'm relatively new to this forum, only knew of it after the mauling we got at Quins when i overheard people going on about it. This is a sport i loved talking about when i was living up north and missed it when i came down to London. This forum keeps me going now when I'm bored and i love it. The thing is when i used to talk to my friends Wigan Leigh Widnes Saints Salford and Wire i loved the banter, i loved taking the mick. It was all done in good faith and humour, trouble is you can't always convey that in text so people jump down your throat or accuse you of being a troll. There is a little bit of snobbery on here from some of the older posters which irritates me but i refrain from biting most of the time plus being only 30 and having no coaching skill i neither remember a lot of past players or very savvy with X and Y plays and all the other moves they do. I WATCH the game enjoy the rugby and talk about it in a layman way. IF any of you guys and girls bump into me i'd be a little shy and insular at first but i can hold my own on an intellectual level I don't see the need for feeling superior or forming a clique. I'll take the posts as they come and form my opinions accordingly.
