Due to his build and he is only a "young lad", should go in at 6.

That's under the impression he has improved in that position in relation to time since i last seen him play.

Are you out of your mind ? When have you seen Rhys play at six, I know that I haven't. He was initially a centre/wing that played alot of last year at fullback.

I'd give him the second half at fullback. We know what Mathers can do, give him a 40 minute run out then swap.

Seriously though when I was mad keen in 80's I used to watch them train at Loushers Lane with my old man. In my defence there were only 3 channels on the TV and no internet.

I think with friendlies, you can take them or leave them. I usually go as I have missed it by this point and it is something to do. Others I know aren't that bothered. Not because of the price or the teams that are playing, just because it's a friendly and they can't be bothered.

I must admit the thought of Widnes and brown snow on Boxing Day does put me off a little.

Last year of service area. He was being stifled in his age group so got moved to six.
During that game, a locally well known head scout spent the whole game on his phone raving about him playing there.

However, I do see him as a future fullback where he is better suited.

Looks like mostly a bunch of accademy players again, think I will give it a miss this year & wait for the 1st team to turn up for the other friedlies

11 of the starting 13 with superleague experience sounds ok to me. I'm also looking forward to seeing the Academy players, Richie Myler debut, off-season development of yuonger players etcl. I'll be there!

We're strong in terms of Backs and the Second Row but after Wood and Cooper the strength of our props worries me!!! Hopefully Neal will prove me wrong!!! I wonder who'll be Captain??
