Shenton's played more time at right centre than left as well.

Ellis played last season there (as in 200icon_cool.gif, Shenton played parts of 2008 there too, he played right centre that night they battered Leeds at Wheldon Rd, scored a 95m try in that game.

Bridge has probably been up there with the best right centre in SL this year, which could be argued shows the lack of decent centres, but could also be argued that it's the first season that Bridge has started to deliver on his immense promise. It's probably been he's most consistent season anyhow, I think there's still loads more to come from him.

did bridge play in the centres when the young aussies came over several years ago...and we beat them under mike greg...may av this wrong...but its not new for bridge to play in the centres,but we do lack quality centres...but as someone has already said he cant be any worse than lee smith

I must admit I don't recall seeing play anything other than left centre. None moreso than watching him flounder behind Hicks.

He definately did, I can see his tries in my head. One of them was like straight from the restart, or maybe one play after the restart, I can remember thinking how quick he looked. Him & Donlan killed them that night. Game finished something like 36-20, Donald got a hat-trick and Leeds lost, think it was week after the WCC.

Apart from the last 3 games of the season Fox had a brilliant season for HKR, hence his inclusion in the Dream Team

Well remembered, shenton scored two tries that night, should have had a hatrick but for a poor call from the video ref. And shenton favours the left but has played right quite alot too (in his first years he played left and right wing aswell).

Hes the type of player who'll be consistent at domestic level and do pretty well at international level (ie, last night), but make one mistake playing for your country and the fans will be calling him the worlds worst rl player regardless of what he does during the other 79 minutes.

With Sinfield playing hooker, I didnt know whether he would be on the pitch for the full 80. Also Kyle Eastmond is an excellent kicker.
But yes, Sinfield is the best out of them all. At no point did i try and compare Bridge and Sinfield as goal kickers.

Bridge did alright, the reason he was selected is supported by the good centre play in giving Fox his try, looked solid. Like to of seen him get his hands on the ball more though. Benny worked hard, took a nasty whack from Moi Moi though.
