What did surprise me a bit was when I was coming away from the game I saw a lady and what looked like her son decked out in Wire gear. It looks like with a few Wire lads on loan, we're fair game to come and watch.

I've been and watched when the games haven't clashed. It's nothing new. As I was recently informed the poeple of Liverpool used to watch both Everton and Liverpool depending on who was at home back in the day. |

Fair enough mate, but the idea of doing that role reversal would fill me with dread. I suppose it is 'each to their own' though. sad really, as our local 'rivalry' seems to be more in the mould of Stockport County V MUFC or Bury v MUFC etc. ie we are down in the dumps and looking up trying to cling onto any form of dislike we can.  
PS No disrespect to any Bury/County fans on here.  |

You wouldn't have had a chance of getting promoted anyway considering that Barrow and Halifax are looking to finish above you, Celtic would still look like a decent team and Castleford would have romped the league.
