Top performance from Monas last night. Whatever combinations people think is best, its great to be in a position with lots of options.

I get the feeling Monaghan will be gone at the end of the season.

Agree with thread title, would like to see him in a wire shirt next season, still can't believe he was played at 7 all this time. This gives us a minor problem having Monas (who can play 80 mins), Higham and Clarke. Surely someone has to find a new position or a new club.

I haven't got that feeling. I thought he would be leaving about two months ago but now I think he will stay as hooker along with Higham and then TS will use Clarke as utility / squad / bench player

Monaghan was impressive at hooker, got my MOM and had some cracking runs from dummy half, his ability to give the right pass at the right time is very impressive indeed and yet again his defence was superb.

I havent liked Monas one bit in a Wire shirt, cant stand him at all. I will however say that he is improving lately, so much so that i dont think he threw an interception last night did he?

He looks very good attacking but shaky in defence to me.

Okay, you didn't rate him, fine, just like many of you didn't rate Mathers, however both have been very good signings for Warrington.

Monaghan has had a great deal of stick and I have been one of his critics. It is now obvious is best position is that of Hooker. I thought he was outstanding against Leeds and can see why he has been successful in the Nrl in the past. I would like to keep him in the Hooker role.

Smith won't be happy with that he sounded pretty certain he would be here next season.
