Agree, hill is also a very good prop. Morleys don't grow on trees unfortunately. I think if we do get one of the NRL props we are linked with and amor as well we will have addressed our major playing personnel problem. Just the bigger issue of the playing style to deal with now.

I remember Dave Cotton (Frans brother) and Dave King. Both really big units, but lacking the mongrel factor that turns good props into great props.

dave king was never a prop though, he was a back row that we stuck in the middle,

It’s sad that in a team containing Ratchford, Austin, Widdop and Clark my primary concern going into the season is whether we will be entertained and try to play attacking rugby.

In fact could this be the first off season that nobody suggests us signing Gareth Hock to give us more 'mongrel' or something.

Well someone said we'd end up bulking up Matty Ashton and he'll lose some of his speed. And they've said we're bulking him up, hopefully just a little bit of extra padding to help him along, be interesting to see if he gets any game time next year. I think it'll be a case of only through injury or suspension (Lineham)

They have to bulk him up, it mentions in the article they dont want to do it to the detriment of his speed - lets hope this is the case.

I guess he will be 2nd reserve behind Mamo, He'll be looking to make an impact I'm sure in the Pre Season friendlies, his target should be to knock Mamo out of first reserve for the wingers spot by the end of the year
