| FFS, I can't believe the negativity around here at times
Our Leader took a calculated risk.....it paid off....great stuff
Youngsters get game time at the highest level...great stuff
One of them picks up a MotM award....great stuff
We win...two points...great stuff
Morley (reading between the lines, today) may well be staying next year...great stuff
We're near the league's summit...great stuff
Yet we've STILL got negative people on here. Tell you what, #### off to Widnes or Cas and take mediocrity/5h1te week in, week out. We don't need your crap round here. We've won the LLS shield and 2 CCs in the last 3 years, and people still bleat. DO ONE, or be thankfull for what we've got.
Some people, honestly!

| How many times did DVDV and Andersontry to replace Briers in 1999-2002 because he wasn't experienced enough. Nowe 10 years later we're saying that O'Brien hasn't got the experience to be the main playmaker. O'Brien is where Briers was 10-12 years ago. He's a real; talent and will be a worthy successor to Lee Briers when the time comes. There's been criticism of Myler on this threaf too. He hasn't played for weeks and yet his ability gets questioned even now. How many times does it have to be said before the penny drops with some People? Myler and Briers are completely different in their style of play. He have 9-10 first choice players out and still win a SL game, yet still people moan.

| i just don't get it..
we're doing ok, blooding youngsters, resting veterans for next week, getting 2 points albeit in a scrappy manner, the future's looking good, 3 trophies in 3 years, 3rd in the table, off field sucess as far as marketing (bigger turn over than wigan's) lottery growing every week, u 20's, u18's etc top of their leagues!
cheap bitter in the new corner!
so what's the effing problem... people have such short memories!

| Quote ="Live Wired"I don't buy into this x number of players missing = poor performance. The players on the pitch today, were, deemed to be good enough to play for Warrington. Just the same as the players who play for Widnes tomorrow, are deemed good enough to play for Widnes. They are professional players, wether at Warrington or any other SL side. I draw the line at the players missing argument, when it's in the lower part-time leagues, where teams are affected by certain key players missing, or in Warrington's case, when Lee Briers is missing. As good as O' brien promises to be, you cannot go into a SL game with only 1 recognised HB.
Warrington are miles off last season's team ( good in the long-term), ie, fit for the end of season. But, any fan watching today, who thinks that we should be putting 50+ on every team, or blames the ref, is seriously deluded.
We seriously need a good hiding to knock this cockiness out of the club. This will be in France next week. The more worrying aspect, long-term, is when Briers retires. Myler is simply not good enough to move the team around, and O' Brien is still inexperienced.'"
Very worrying. I've got a great idea, why don't we try resting Briers to get O'Brien more playing time. Are you with me?

| Lucky to get the win today IMO. Salford controlled the first half yet somehow went in 12-10 behind we had a good 20min spell in 2nd half when we posted some points and took control. Think we lacked ideas in attack at times but with only 1 real playmaker in the team what can you expect. Positive we had 8(?) Home grown players in the side and still came out with the win. Thought Currie Riley and Hill stood out today for me.

Riley certainly did stand out! He has done well this season but was terrible today - probably the worst game I have seen him play in a long time.
A very patchy performance with only one real halfback playing but I actually thought Rhys Williams was our best outside back with O'Brien's kicking very good. Currie was immense, great defence and took his try well. Quite a few forwards did ok today too - Woody, Coops, Carvell and some great link up play from Waterhouse.

I thought Riley did well personally defence wise he was a little sloppy on 1 on 1's but he positioned himself well for kicks and helped to support the few breaks we made. Needs to improve his link into the line however but can't be easy when you have played wing majority of the year.

| nice one lefty and nice one from the majority of wire fans who are positive and doom-mongerers (probably spelt wrong), £@%^ off
somewhere else. We've been blessed with 3 trophies in 3 seasons watching some of the best and entertaining rl I've ever seen from
any side. We've had a lot of bad luck with injuries, but come the end of the season, we'll hopefully have a fully fit and charged
set of forwards -Morley, Monaghan, Carvell, Benny, Harrison/Sol/Cooper, Grix, with massive potential in Waterhouse and all the
other players we've blooded so far. Myler and Briers will be back (still can't believe some of the idiots who slag Myler).
A back line blessed with Atkins, Bridge, Monaghan, Riley-who still finishes everytime despite his detractors who (probably reside
in the Myler is rubbish camp along with a few pie eaters). Plus Hodgson at FB who although aging is still class. It's a class
side with the the best coach in TS and the most vociferous fans when we all pull together to get that Fletcher End sound, which
has been replicated (despite the doom mongerers again) in the big games. i watched last year's challenge cup quarter v wigan the other
night all the way through and although we lost in the end; the first half was amazing and the atmosphere incredible- sounded
like at least 30,000. Even near the end when we had lost and the pie fans were singing "your not singing anymore" we all
started sing "oh warri warri" which blasted out of my tv-so proud to be wire. Let's just remember where we were and be
thankful that our club is in such great shape with so much to look forward to both in the near and distant future.

| Hopefully we can do a Leeds of last year and concentrate on the big one. It would be great to go further in the cc but i think
it would mean so much more if we could do the elusive big one.

| For those that remember it.
Cast your minds back to the last few days of Feb 1990.
We were drawn away to Bradford in the CC QF. No-one gave us a prayer. A ground where we rarely won. It was ####ing cold (I swear I saw a Polar bear walk past me with a Duffel coat on). Fast forward 22 years, and everything matches up again (apart from the day's temperature). Let's go on and win it, and the final too.
