Even though McCarthy is the senior player I though Currie showed last week he is worthy of inclusion before him. Surprised me how they compared.

I don't care how many fans have formed an opinion. There's only a few people matter in picking the team. They certainly shouldn't be picking the team so fans can have a look at somebody.

The reality is that Tony Smith has always preferred to play his more experienced players. It's how he works and it's what has worked for him in the past.

Seriously though I do think TS likes to slowly introduce the youngsters to the squad, then have the odd bench spot but once that's done and they've come through the test, then they are viewed on equal merit as a senior squad member.

Sorry cant buy into that,he didnt slowly introduce them against Salford or London he threw a whole load of them in.one poster as if it isnt broken dont fix it,well like everything in life it will break at some point and these youngsters as we call them are going to need some game time.Wigan have done it and a couple other teams why havnt we???

It's interesting to see three different strategies at the moment;

Wigan have chosen to use quite a lot of youngsters in 2013
Wire have largely stuck with the experienced players
Leeds seem to have a blend of older stars and youth

Personally I fear the Leeds approach. I still think they will be the team to beat this year, and next.
