Praying for a nice double, myself.
Sky+ the City game, and bike as soon as The Wire has finished.
Back on thread, you don't need the brainpower of that annoying lover Prof. Brian Cox to realise a successful side means good attendances. We got good attendances when we won 3 CCs in 4 years, on the back of a world wide recession. People found the money to watch a successful product. In the past 3 or 4 years, the world has ridden the effects of the recession, but our performances/results have been on the wane, so people have stayed away.
Win, and they will come.
Come On The Wire (and City)

| Has any other club that has moved grounds in the last couple of decades experienced the increased level of support that we did when moving from Wilderspool to the HJ? We has a huge increase overnight, and as the new ground factor started to fade a bit we finally became a trophy winning team which again guaranteed fresh interest.
It's no surprise that now both those factors have gone attendances are down.

| Once a wire all ways a wire. I'm new to this but your heart will always be the the club where they play, how good they play, who plays for them, Warrington have moved on so much in last 5 10 years on and off the pitch everyone should embrass the team and club new dawn new beginning. Wire wire wire. This could ............

| Decent crowd I thought today considering the Hull KR following was down on their usual numbers. 11k there, probably 300-400 from Hull KR?
I think the 'Home areas' hold about 11k so we must have been fairly close to capacity in the North / South / East.....?

| North and East looked very well filled. South was reasonably busy where I was. A Wigan/Saints sized away crowd would've seen a really impressive crowd. Season ticket sales are apparently up about a fifth.

| Yes it looked comfortably full from the north.
I can see there being a couple of sell outs this year at HJ - needed really to justify the expense of the corners.

| Was disappointed with the north when lizzie was singing attendance wise, but come kick off it was nearly full apart from the away seats, the corner quadrant was pretty full as well.
South standers, what did we think of the reception area in Jack fish corner today?
Granted I'm not a huge fan of popular music but whilst queuing for a coffee pre match I did think it added a different atmosphere upon entering the stadium in that corner. It's immediately making you think it's an event.
Also, did anyone else know they were keeping that corner open till 6? Music was still on and they were still selling beer post match

Yes knew about the bar staying open,so I asked Roger Draper why am I going to stay and not go across the road to the Rodney, his answer is price is staying at 3.70.

| First to to a home game I asked a couple of people in the Rodney if you could put a bet on in the ground, they both said yes, so shocked there was no where inside to have a bet for first try scorer etc. did they have a bookies in the old ground or does anyone know if there is plans in the future?

| Mr Draper has to increase match day revenue. The two ways of doing this is to get more through the turnstiles, and then keep the fans there longer, before or after the game.
Get it right on the pitch and you get the former, get the match day "experience" right and you get the latter.
From yesterdays experience (+ the Leeds performance the previous week), I think we've made positive steps on both counts.

There used to be a bookies a way back, which became the tat shop, I think Is. The vape stall now.
In the south at least

I don't think that this is strictly correct.
I didn't stay, but, left the stadium by that corner and the 'guy with the music' was advertising cheaper prices, they certainly began with a £2. Perhaps it was £2 70, maybe a gesture for the first game or two to put it out there as an option, or perhaps it was a supporter with no authority looking after things whilst the real bloke in charge of pricing went to the loo?

| I didn't stay as I had other plans anyway, they were really banging the music out loud when I left, surely it would be better to tone it down a bit so people can talk about the game...?
Maybe an idea would be to put re runs of previous games on there? Either classics or previous recordings of non sky matches as I know the club record all games....? You could announce in advance which game would be shown to try and build some interest.

| I'm not sure I would have wanted to hang about in a cold stadium yesterday.
Maybe after a wigan/saints victory in warmer weather maybe I would stick around and savor the atmosphere. But it was baltic yesterday so it was a very brisk paced walk to the warmth of the pub....

I did actually ask him at the last fans forum regarding pricing and he did actually say it was going to stay at £3.70 as this was already a reduction from the last time prices were higher.

I'm not saying that you were mistaken or hadn't got it from the horses mouth, but, the chap did say two something as I walked by yesterday.

| Decent crowd I was surprised on how small Hull KR's support was for thier 1st away game and it was a Sunday fixture.
I think the fans bar thing may take off a bit on a Sunday afternoon or Friday evening when the weather gets warmer, as has been already said it was freezing yesterday so people where bound to make a beeline for the pub at full time.
The Wakey game is a slight concern crowd wise, Friday's aren't everyone's first choice and I can't see a huge amount of travelling support.

| Crowds are falling because the game isn't as entertaining as it used to be. It's all drive it in take the tackle quick play then the same again. When was the last time your saw a move or someone running an angle. Alex Murphy said last year it's getting boring.

They should have that band back on that they had in the Jack Fish stand before the Leigh Cup game, and on the pitch pre-match before the pies game.

Sorry matey but if you can't spot the moves and angles you have a problem. The game is more complex now with so many dummy runners. Alex was a great player with so much pace.

| Moves are more prevalent now and the game is more structured with everything stressed about retention and high percentage plays.
Where the game used to be more entertaining was is in the individual, off the cuff moments.
