Bridge if fit in with either GOB or Myler could match it up.

Ratchford and Bridge together would well snuff them out with the size strength and skill they both posses.

We really must get a footballer in there. Our backs v Salford weren't so creative until Salford tired and Ratchford pushed up.
This may not hold up against the quality halfbacks of St Gl.
Widdop and Marshall are not Chase and Farge by a long way.

I reckon the origins of that "it's always your year" chant come from the Wire fans who used to give it large on here and a few other forums saying every year was going to be the "year of the wolf" regarding Warrington becoming Super League Champions.

Now I know not all Wire fans were saying this but rival fans soon picked up on this 'year of the wolf' soundbite and the chant was born.

I read an earlier post saying it was St Helens fans who started the song off. Whether that's true or not I don't know as most fans of SL clubs seem to sing it at you.

the Salford fans in the looking glass on Saturday were hilarious! Some of the songs right tickled me up. All part of the matchday experience and atmosphere. Keep the songs coming!

Thought the atmosphere was great on Saturday , feel really positive about this year, especially with the new signings . Hope we don't get too many injuries and keep things going against hull

I think it's journo's and TV pundits who stuck that "it's Warringtons year " tag on us.
I know you get the odd Wire fan giving it the big un ,but me and most the Wire fans I know and speak to don't gob off about it being our year...BTW did the recent challenge cup and LLS successes not constitute a good year??

Also, the "its always your year" one only really works for Saints, Wigan and Leeds. It's ironic when a teams supporters sing it who haven't seen silverware in living memory.
