Good Afternoon Guys, although I like to follow posts on here I've not actually posted for years. As most of us I'm really not enjoying this season at all, yes its mostly the results and last night was really hard to take, I'm still gutted now just can't get my head around it. But, its also the atmosphere at the ground and sort of takes me back to 2002, I'm sure most on here remember Rocket Rodwell coming on the forum telling us everything will be ok, I didn't believe a minute of it. But I do think Darrel Powell will come good, how many times over the years have we said "how come good players seem to suddenly become average when they play for us", or "the culture of the club needs to change". I just think we need to try and get behind the players and the club especially if they are trying to change the culture

Unfortunately relegation is possible, especially when you see how Toulouse are grinding out some great results and Wakey have battered us this year, and like everyone else I really can't see where the next win is coming from. I'm also certain the club can see this also. But we've got to stay behind our club and coaching team guys. I'm probably talking a load of shi*te and you would all be happy if its a few more years until I decide to post again.

Yes what we have now is a load of average players playing awful. I’m glad Powell has been brave enough to lower standards so quickly and efficiently. Stick with him and we may reach the dizzy heights of mediocrity.

We'd be stuck between a rock and a hard place if that we're to happen. A whole new squad signed by Powell with his set up in mind being coached by a brand new coach.

I seriously doubt the board will stick with a man who has taken a Wire side down for the first time in our history, especially with the financial backing he’s had. This is a man who has been warned twice by the club for his conduct, he’s on very thin ice and relegation would certainly see the back of him.

If we are relegated, then the whole new squad would be tearing up their contracts and looking for other clubs. Then we'd be back to square one needing to re-build a squad that is full of players happy to play in the championship. In other words, championship standard ones. The cost of relegation to the club would be far greater than sticking to the principle of giving any coach a fair amount of time, and keeping DP no matter what damage it inflicts on Warrington RLFC.

Something I’d heard from a good source, I wouldn’t have posted it but someone else mentioned it in another thread somewhere recently so I believe it’s common knowledge. I think it was down to how he was speaking to/treating people.

Whilst I don't want it to happen, being relegated maybe just the kick up the backside that our club executive custodians need.

We are complacent, mediocre, unresponsive and unprofessional. We are also lacking pride and will happily use our lack of success as some type of "always our year" joke. We set, and accept, low standards for sporting achievement and player behaviour. The only thing that we have in our favour is wealthy owners which allows us to try and buy our way out of trouble with imported talent who often go on to underperform.

Taking fans for granted, not valuing their support and treating with contempt via ridiculous gimmicks. As for being connected with the fans - they supress information whilst simultaneously being duplicitous and are always last to make announcements. I suspect they deny free press access to the Warrington Guardian also as that reads like a North Korean critical column. They pump merchandising adverts at us at every time often just after humiliating performances. They must imagine us to be salivating dogs waiting for a bone to be thrown to them.

I fully expect to be hammered by Tolouse and 10 mins later get an email about an early bird offer for 2023 with a title "A new breed" or something equally trite.

Relegation is a very serious threat and we can’t rely on Wakefield and Toulouse losing every game until the end of the season. And if we continue to lose, it’ll only make our points difference worse.

Why do they tweet about Mikaele’s and Wardle’s tries from last night as if they’re something to celebrate after such a humiliating loss? Club needs to get a grip of itself and quickly.
