Not missed a final since the pies beat us at Wembley + was seriously thinking of giving this a match a miss due to the fact having half my top front teeth extracted the day before but am sure lifting(hopes)that cup will ease the painicon_smile.gif

If our lot from the Magic Weekend turn up and sing like they did then, Wigan might as well leave their fans at home.

We were in W3101 last year, terrible view so paid a bit more and are sat further down.

Last year it was obvious that Old Trafford is the Leeds fans second home. They knew where to park, go for a drink, a bite to eat. We were like a new boy at school. They were so confident too despite the difference in league placings.

This time, we will be more familiar too. Hopefully what happened last year will help our lads this time.

I felt that at as well- that Leeds out sung us last year.I reckon some of it has to do with expectation. I honestly thought that we'd pretty much turn up and win it. This year different for me. I think we can win it but it's going to be tougher than last year and I think fans are more vocal and passionate when there's a bit of a hill to climb.

Only missed 1 Warrington cup final since the Lancashire cup final replay of 1967.

I didn't enjoy last years final at Old Trafford. Compared to Wembley I felt that atmosphere before the game was very poor & getting away from OT by train was badly organised.
At the game I was surrounded by drunken Hull fans.
I believe Sky build the Grand Final up to be something it is not. So this year I will save the hassle of getting from Mid Wales and watch it on television.

Couldn't agree more.Not a patch on the atmosphere at Wembley but having said that i'd regret it forever if i didn't go + we won.Even though a good majority of the fans would like to see us lift the cup it seems to be more of an ambition of the players to get the monkey of their backs.

Why do people keep comparing it to Wembley? Do soccer fans compare winning the league to winning the FA Cup?

Warrington playing Wigan in the Grand Final at Old Trafford is dreamland for me. There is no other game or team to play that comes close. As some on here will know I have a great dislike of Saints but I would rather play & beat Wigan any day.

Next Saturday Warrington Wolves play Wigan Warriors in the Grand Final at Old Trafford. It does not get any better than that.

As much as I didn't enjoy the experience last year....THIS IS EXACTLY RIGHT. And I wouldn't miss this for anything.

I think there will be less there than last year. Everyone I speak to are saying they aren'y going after last years experinence of the occassion.

I said the same, i was disapointed even before the kick off old trafford is a dump. But im going because id never forgive myself if i wasnt there to see them lift the trophy.

So some people are not going to watch their team in the biggest fixture in the rugby league calender, against the old enemy at one of the most famous stadiums in the world because of a bad expierance last year???
