I saw it all. Monaghan scored and chucked the ball in the crowd (high, no-one died). Two Salford fans threw beer - one flicked his pint pot the other chucked a bottle. Some other gorp, the one who squared up to Westwood, did not throw anything. Much pointing and shouting ensued. Koukash watched the first half with the fans and the second in the seats. Came down when it kicked off and, to be fair, was acting peace maker before he made a div of himself on GMR. Brilliantly, he had his picture taken with the two aforementioned beer throwers, who no doubt gave him the duff info about one of our lot throwing it back.

Agreed but Monas ignited the fire without doubt. There was no need.

I think M Monnas was so pleased as his parents are over. They were sat just behind me. It must have been a great moment for all the family. Cracking try too.

Ratchford surely must get a ban for that, kicking conversions into the crowds, disgraceful, lets hope the Dr doesn't read this forum, BBC Manchester would have no air time for anything else if he finds out.

If something is there to be discussed it doesn't matter on the score win or lose.

Despite having an opinion about someone who I think is maybe a touch too outspoken what he did after the match for a charity was fantastic upstairs in the hospitality.

He won the raffle for a signed shirt and there was a charity coming round called Homestart i think it was and he decided to auction the shirt he had won to the room and pass the proceeds to charity.

Once the shirt had reached £300 he added on 2 tickets to join him at chester racecourse all drink and food included... the auction soon rose to £1000, then he added 2 tickets to royal ascot again food and drinks included... all in all raised £1500 for charity in the end and it was all spur of the moment.

Fantastic gesture - even if a little arrogant, that charity is £1500 better off

Putting aside the objectively unpleasant nature of the word, I think calling Koukash a mong is a bit harsh. Admittedly, he worked himself into a lather about it but you're going a bit far there.

He has just been on GMR saying that he was told by a steward that a player threw it and he is disappointed in the match commissioner for not consulting with him. However he then said he wanted to bring the incident to a close which is somewhat contradictory. He found himself caught in the heat of the moment and needs to accept that he was misinformed, learn some lessons from it and move on.

Fair play to the salford fans though, as they are usually fighting with each other when they visit us... its an improvement of sorts.
