We still need another backrower don't we?

Currently we have Hughes & potentially Currie signed up for next year, we will need a BMM replacement from the back row won't we? Ideally Josh Jones, but it seems to have gone quiet on that front.

We still have backrowers aplenty, even after BMM's departure. It's in the front row where we have bare minimum cover.

Based on known signings / existing players in contract negotiations, the back row might be Currie and King at SR with Hughes at LF. Inglis and Ratchford at centre (I'm assuming that Gelling has dissappeared for good) with Ashton at FB.

Currently we have a back row of Hughes signed up, that's about it.

J Clark, Currie, Davis all yet to sign new deals officially, even if they all sign I think we are a back rower short. Ideally we have Hughes at 13 spelled by Clark or someone new off the bench. Currie in the backrow with Josh Jones then Davis in reserve. I'm not sure if we have options in the academy that could replace Clark / Davis...? We need at least 5 backrowers in the squad for me; 3 on the pitch, one on the bench and one in reserve plus academy prospects.

Props we have signed up Hill, Cooper, Philbin, Sita, Latu with potentially Butler from London. There's a lot of money tied up there, I can't see us signing anyone else unless someone leaves, which you would think would be expensive. I'm open to swapping Latu for David Fifita though...

Jason Clark is bolted-on, no way he will leave given how influential he was in signing his mate GI. We have Hughes on contract and King plays there. If you can count the unsigned Butler in the props, you can count Currie and Davis in the back row. Ellis Robson has been pushing for a spot there and will figure more in 2021. So that's five back rowers v five props: there is no chance Latu will be back in 2020.

Harvey Livett looks like he's on his way back to us, another Second rower on the books, and luis Johnson is a second rower/prop. 3rd year with us Johnson and we don't seem to know what to do with him.

Read a story today that said Salford want Livett for 2021.

I think Livett would do well wherever he goes, handy player who i think would be a great loose forward. Gonna be interesting to see who has kept as fit as possible when the season starts. I'm hoping Latu will pull his finger out and give our forwards some extra firepower, the more minutes we can take off Hills game the better off we'll be in the forwards. I just don't think he's the right guy, Francis Molo becoming available would have been a nice addition but looks like he's off to saints

I also forgot that, if he gets any games at all, Luther Burrell will most likely be in the back row.

Not sure why we are letting Livett go yet keeping Jason Clark and Luther Burrell etc.

We don't help ourselves when it comes to our youngsters.

Yeah i think we get rid of our kids to soon before they are really tested properly, execptions like patton though. I think he's a better Hooker than he is halfback, best games i saw him play for us were at hooker.
