No one really stood out today.Everyone just did what was asked of them.Louis was his usual solid self with the big hit, thrown in.Benny same as Louis.Morley had some decent runs,Myler still looks a ver good support player and nothing more.Joel looks like he will get better with every game.Mick Monas looked good when Briers was on the pitch, without Briers he losted his way abit. When Briers went off no one really stepped up and showed some leadership we lost are way a little bit.We were very lucky to get the win today.Blythe did a job and nothing more he was solid, tackled well and made meters.

| Westwood, Joel, Myler, LAnderson, Blythe & Morley were all very good, but Older Monas was the stand out player for me. Absolutely brilliant. Still delighted that he extended his contract last season.
And is Lee Mitchell a poster on here as someone voted for him with only a 15 minute cameo at the end ? Every time I see him play he looks more like Ron Weasley.

| It must just be me and Tony Smith who thought Ben Westwood was head and shoulders above everyone else then. MOM by a country mile, followed, in no particular order, by good performances from Morley, both Monaghans and Matty Blythe, who I thought was superb for the whole match.

thats bang on in my opinion.... so i couldnt really make a 123,
as you say Mike Monas went from being awesome to ok, Ben Westwood got sucked in for a few penalties which ruined his hard work, and Hodgson for me went from looking like a dead man walking to coming up with some crucial plays.
not sure of the Matty Blythe love in either
a quite bizarre game

| I thought Westwood was great again. How many times have we said that for the last few seasons? We had a few penalties awarded against us today from a poor substandard referee who was very inconsistent. I don't like bashing referees however the KR try in the second half was forward but Albert was in a dreadful position and the nuggets on the line do nothing. How he also missed the Atkins knock on in the second half was also comical

I think it mainly is the fact that he surprised me personally. I have always thought that he wasn't SL standard but today he showed that he can play at the top level. Drove the ball in well, may have been a bit selfish as a centre at times, but a good game from him.

| Blythe, Westwood and Louis in that order for me. As mentioned, without Briers, Monas didn't look out of this world but came into his own when Briers returned. Agree with Tony about Westwood, exceptional today. Blythe gets my vote I think more to how he surprised me - as others have said they didn't think he was quite SL quality, superb today very strong runner and ran some good lines. Anderson 3rd due to once again a solid runner with the ball in hand and solid in defence throughout the whole game. Solid throughout the whole team, Joel deserves a shout, great wingers performance.
Only negative is Myler. I feel disappointed with him again, I was hoping he'd take over when Briers went off but didn't really offer anything and threw a few bad passes, one which caused a try for KR. Great support player no doubt, picks out holes in the defences on a crash ball very well, twice he went through gaps but I'm starting to expect more of a game from this kid... Here's to hoping he steps up his game all round for next week. He's got the potential, I just hope he fulfils it.

| What's with the Myler bashing? Is he our new Penny - blame him for everything?
We were discussing at half time how Monaghan(M) and Myler were playing really well, and that Briers kicking game was having an off day.
Having said that, when Briers came back on he seemed to galvanise the team into action. Myler simply has to learn how to take control like that.

| thought myler did ok,played down the middle first half with briers linking up play, when briers went off(t.s took briers not myler off for under performing?) monas took central roll with myler pushed out into the briers link up roll.this is obviously how sir tony wanting to play, myler had too take a minor roll.STOP compareing richie to tomkins and eastman and i`m very confident he will turn into a class player.myler haters who sit near me are the same monas and king go home brigade(shows their knowledge of a good player).

| I would like to think I'm not a myler hater.... However I did expect I certain type of player. He is a support player, we all know that. But to be a top class half back he needs more. I just don't see what else he brings. I really hope I proves me wrong and he becomes what we need him to be.... But currently he doesn't appear to have many of the required skills. I would love nothing more than for myler to step up to the plate and deliver. He hasn't done it yet though.

| Are we expecting to much to soon with Myler,or did we think he turn it something he never will be.And we need to resign are selfs to the fact, he will just be a very good support player. At times when he has played it like he his scared to take on the line in fear of making a mistake, then the boo boys will start on him.We all know he has pace to burn,so we wont he take on the 1st man, instead of passing straight away.

Try watching what he does then. People see Briers providing the final pass for a try and so remember him doing it. Quite alot of the time Myler is the one running at the line, then firing a fast, accurate pass to Briers - giving him space. But many people seem to be failing to notice those types of contributions.
