In seriousness I fully agree that an anthem is required. I don't like the idea of some singer singing it as that's tacky, but whoever does the PA could play the same song as a matter of routine shortly before the players come out for every game. That could lead to it catching on and it doesn't need to have it's words changed to Warrington words either - You'll Never Walk Alone works fine as it is for example, and it was written for a musical not football. As far as I know Stoke fans just sing Delilah as normal too and they sing it well.

Yed won't thank me for agreeing with him but I love his Bridge Over Troubled Water suggestion.

PS: Drums at sporting events are an atrocity.

Anyone remember that ugly bird that used to bring a drum whenever Sheffield Eagles came to Wilderspool. Someone should have stuck it over her head, because
1. She couldn't drum in any particular time, it was just hitting the "flippin" thing
2. She was pig-ugly, and the drum would have hidden her face. She'd have put the 5h1ts up Peter Cushing

Hahaha - yes! I think she was probably my first ever experience of drums at a match to be honest as we didn't have them at Warrington back then and we've never had them at my football club.

You are right there, typically the great sporting club anthem marriages, is where the anthem has been attached to the club by chance !!!!

But seeing as we're over 125 years in, and not got one, maybe a bit of manufacturing is in order !!!!

I hate it when they do that. When we play team A and they start a wigan/ saints/ widnes chant. Surely the idea is that we shout SUPPORT for OUR side, not make chants up about everyone else?
