Am I the only one who's more nervous for this semi final than any of the others?

I'm nervous MO, but, in an excited way, big game, big potential prize.

It's a we 'have nothing to lose game' for me, as if we do get beat I don't think that think that our season will spiral into oblivion. Perhaps one positive thing about the way we have played this season and the defeats that we have suffered is that we may have learned to cope with them and with youngsters blooded and our 'big guns' coming back I'm excited about our prospects either way. Lose and we can bounce back win and we can build momentum with the squad choices and cover that we have. I'm looking at it through my P&B sunnies of course, we could end up with n'ewt.

Let's get behind the team on Saturday, all bar three other teams would love to be in our position NTW!!

I think it's because the play offs are a finals series, culminating with a grand final.

I feel the same, looking forward to it but just want it to be over. Love the big game feeling.

If I'm ever more nervous than for the 2009 semi-final then an ambulance will be required.

Most of our (Leeds) fans seem devastated at the prospect of having to play this game full stop. I mean I've been tempted to post the number for the suicide hotline on there such is the worry and despair and gloom on there that we'll get beat.

People spend all year complaining about meaningless games and not looking forward to them as they don't really have much bearing on who'll win silverwear at the end of the year.......then we come to a CC Semi and we have many posters saying they aren't looking forward to the match.......it's embarrassing.

They try and reason it with saying "but we aren't playing well". Whilst that is true we aren't in great nick ATM but in cup games form doesn't count for too much and we've shown enough times in the past that we do ok at going to another level. They then argue that we can't use past successes as an indicator and have to live on current form......then hypocritically say Wire's recent past success in the cup gives them an advantage.

They bemoan the "effort" the team puts in when they lose a game yet turn around on the week of a CC Semi and say "not bothered", "not looking forward to it."

I've sometimes questioned why we get called Whinos.....but our board this week has shown me why. Any slight hint of trying to be positive by myself saying we do stand a chance and some of them get very annoyed and angry by it and try shooting it down.

The core of this Leeds team deserve a CC win, many of our 'fans' don't.

i haven't been on your board, but the CC has certainly bred a certain level of apathy from certain clubs.... us warrington fans love it, as its all we have won recently.. we have had some great days out at wembley.

its a shame alot of your fans are looking upon the game like that... im sure your players wont.... this is the only trophy they havent won... im expecting a full blooded all out display from your side tomorrow... should be a cracking game.

I just hope the weather stays good as a dry pitch will benefit both teams style of play, but particularly WIres, the match lives up to expectations and the BBC give it the prestige, kudos and build-up it deserves.

Since 2002 we've played Saints on their doorstep 4 times in Grand Finals and beaten them, oh and you as well as you travelled 10 minutes down the road to Old Trafford. So yes, in neutral venues we have played teams outside Yorkshire more times than in Yorkshire since 2002. Do you want me to send a brain donor over there so you can understand.
