I think Hill has been our best player (for the second year running). Higham has had his best season but he still makes mistakes. Hill NEVER makes a mistake, makes yard after yard after yard, gives very few penalties away, plays almost every week etc etc.

Agreed. Hill's level of consistency is frightening.

Hill has been outstanding again this season but my vote went to Mickey Higham who is having something of an Indian summer which has certainly come at an opportune time with Monas being crocked and off colour

For me Myler has been our best player this season by a country mile.

It was only a few weeks ago that everyone was praising Grix to the hilt and now it's Higham.

Why is that fickle its not as though people are slagging Grix off and changing their mind to Higham I think that both players are highly regarded

My vote would be Hill Higham and Grix 1,2 and 3. Although I think paul Wood's form at the minute is excellent, particularly considering the 'demons' he has had to deal with earlier this year.

If there was an award for unsung hero of the season Grix would have it year in year out!

For me, I think Higham.

He has scored tries when we really needed them - his kick through and score for the home match against Leeds (and see Wigan below). And his tempo, and breaks, set an example to the rest of the players, and have I think lifted the team at critical points. Myler has improved enormously this year, but I suspect we rate him because of the demise of Briers, who can now only play in short periods of the game. Grix has been a godsend with the injury problems we have had in the 3/4, so i would put him second. Hill is a rock, but I would have him third.

Try of the season for me was Higham's score for the home game against Wigan. There were 3 or 4 pairs of hands involved in getting the ball to Riley. I thought he supplied the money ball with that beautifully weighted kick, then Higham showing excellent work rate and determination, diving for the try to deny Tomkins. So a great team effort all round, and the score was the turning point of a very important match.

The try if the year is a tough one, Morleys was memorable and the first one I thought of. But thinking back, Ratchfords against Huddersfield in the snow was a cracker. Atkins break away and support from Bridge who sets free Ratchford. Great attacking rugby in the worst conditions possible

Can't believe nobody ever mentions joel in their player of the year suggestions. The only one who rivals Hill for consistency. If he has a bad game you'd certainly notice it because it would stick in your mind. Don't think i've ever left the groung saying 'joel had a bad game today'. Says a lot about the man.

Benn a fantastic player this year. Carried the ball forward and defended like a demon and a few scores as well.

I certainly gave Joel some real consideration.

In the end I voted for Higham though. While Myler has been our best player in the games he has played in, it's Higham who has held the season together I think while other players have been dropping around him. His consistency has surprised me in such a key position.

Hill, Grix, Wood and Joel would also be up there for me. Ratchford would also have been in with a shout but I don't think the last month or so has been his finest - that's ok, he's been shifted around a few positions and will hopefully be the better for it next year.

Most memorable Try? Got to be our captain Moz. Seeing him score that against saints made my year/
