McManus' premature celebration was my favourite part of any saints match since we beat them and the LLS went back in the box. I had a good chuckle after makinsons drop goal attempt as well! I think that was a slightly lower intensity match than Monday.

Considering that lot were praising Liam Moore so highly when he gave them the rub of the green on Monday it will be interesting reading on the red vee now they lost with him as ref.

Paasi could be banned for the rest of the season as well, they didn't show replays so I can't say for sure but if that's a direct contact with the head at that force it should see him out until at least the final IMO.

Had a few looks at that and was really hard to tell, obviously they will have other camera angles to look at.

I also replayed the incident after the game finished, and it wasn't possible to draw any conclusion with the footage at normal speed from just the one angle.
It's very unusual that replays were not shown while there was a break in play, which makes me wonder if it was very naughty.

Although, interesting that they didn't replay it, especially in the ground, normally those things get replayed while someone is on thr ground for 5 minutes, and the crowd gets wound up and on the refs back.

Its almost like he was spared the abuse/or the pressure of being made to give a red card.

While the game was in extra time, the colour of the card was not relevant, and whether Paasi is charged by the RFL won't be known until next week. Therefore, it didn't have any material bearing at the time.

I doubt it, saints don't get the same treatment as everyone else in the judiciary panel. They will probably send in makinson as a goodwill ambassador as well, that is good enough for a game or 2 off the ban.

Reminded me of the 2017 semi versus Cas. saints scored with a minute to go to take the lead but Cas got a penalty on the hooter to equalise and Gale dropped the golden point goal to win it for Cas. When he thought they'd won it he was bouncing up and down with £ signs in his eyes.
