Not brilliant news for me, I live out of town and was too slow off the mark, my local messenger went first thing this morning not a sausage.I've always thought we should be better supported but that old adage "be careful what you wish for" has bitten me in the proverbial GRRR!!!

Hopefully, a good performance in this match in front of a large crowd should attract more
spectators for the rest of the season & could even boost season ticket sales.

Will this be a record crowd for the HJ then? Or was the St Helens game a sell-out too?

I have a neighbour who is a town copper and he tells me they are prepared for Friday, both in the centre and around the ground. Hope they all stand around with their arms folded as is their normal pose.

It's too much Oxygen in the fresh air that sets them off. The club are piping Widnesian fumes into the West stand this year in the hope that they feel calmer and more relaxed.

oh mate! that's rubbish! you need to speak to Mr Moran and get the capacity raised! OR make sure you get in for a ticket early doors! I'm bringing the kids AND the Mrs for the very 1st time together...so blame them!

that should settle them right down. Its unfortunate, but this event needs to be policed like a football match I reckon.

The wife volunteers as one of the "Game Changers" who help out on matchdays. She has a season ticket, but hasnt actually used it yet as she is already in the ground. I have just emailed her that link to put her ticket back into the system. It's a good idea by the club!

No the fan will be 'rewarded' with 1,000 points for giving up their ticket - the club will then obviously pocket the revenue.

Or anyone in the Prediction Competition will be rewarded with 1,000 points, just think of the fun driving around in garyhulsefans prize Mercedes!!

This is only a guess, and I may be completely wrong, but I don't think you are going to get a South stand ticket for Widnes.

As far as I remember that game wasn't a sell-out.

The Saints game was a 15,000 sell out. The capacity following that game was raised to 15,200. I think the theoretical capacity of the ground is somewhere around 15,600 but the club needs to prove it can handle the next level i.e. The 15,200 before we are allowed to add more on.

To be honest, it was bad enough with 15,000 in, another 200 in the South stand on Friday will be very snug

Wont be able scratch your own backside in south stand, im only worried about who will be doing it for me

I was too late for a south ticket so bought one for west stand - let's hope they don't pump too many Widnes fumes in there!! No way I was going to miss this one........
