I know I was the one sticking up for the guy earlier in the season as I didn't think he had found his feet . He gives the impression of someone who doesn't care and who doesn't care that people realise that he doesn't care. Poor but we have no-one else.

It was noticeable during the scrambly break by Catalans in the second half, everyone bust a gut to get back, two tackles later, he got back into the line.

Its the Likes of Riley and England I feel for. Coops and Hilly had Morley and Carvell To show them how to come on and give the team a lift. You look a Roy being a tea pot 20 metre behind the play and Its not exactly the perfect role model we were looking for..

Completely agree with the posted comments. I was getting really wound up whilst watching the game with his lack of interest. It came as no surprise how many times the other players missed him out either when passing along the line, or after the ptb.

Yeah Thats the one.. I thoughly stuck up for the guy but am prepared to admit I might have been wrong on this one.. It doesnt matter how many tackles you make. You still bust a gut for your team mates .

He does seem to get involved in a lot of tackles, do his stats reflect that?

I watched the game on TV and watched Mr Asatosi very closely...The tackling he was doing was *joining in* being the second or third player into the tackle...There was no sign of any *big hits*

Ive not posted on here for 2 or 3 years but at the moment i am so upset that the club are having to pay this guy, every time he comes on i just feel he is taking the mickey out of the club and the fans, it is so obvious he is not interested.

I've not watched the match back yet but i don't think he was first to the tackle in the 4 tackles he was involved in, just sort of helping out Yawn

He wasn't that bad last night....he wasn't busting it up going forward but he came did get involved in more than half of the tackles when he came on.
I made it a point to watch him.

I've been watching Warrington since 1987 and I can't think of any prop forward we've had in that time that doesn't get involved in fisty-cuffs. If you watch back any of the games from this season he stands away from the pushing & shoving and looks dis-interested.

A few posters on here have likened him to Paul Rauhihi for coming over from the NRL with a big reputation, yet failing on the pitch. But at least Rau got involved and backed-up his team mates.

When we signed him I thought we were signing an enforcer, like Morley. Fail. He's a poor player with no visible passion for the club.

Many posters on here were wetting themselves at the prospect of Roy coming to SL even before he signed for the Wire.....just shows the best policy for the English game is a good youth system & let the over the hill Aussies retire to Bondi Beach instead of coming here for a pension.

He wasn't that bad, he made a few tackles... THATS HIS JOB! He has one of the simplest jobs, take the ball and run. And to flatten an opposing player with the ball. I am not congratulating someone who took the ball in 5 times. He stands away from a first receiver, he doesn't run with another prop backing up, when he does get the ball he immediately tries to get rid of it, Rhys Evens took the ball into the middle and made more yards in the tackle than 'Big Roy' has made all season, he doesn't acknowledge the fans and he =#0000FFbacks out of fistycuffs.

Could it be he's playing still half fit and he's taking it lightly after a major op that saw him withdraw from the world cup?

While I'm not defending him the people who should be getting stick are the management who sanctioned this signing and as I've already stated in a previous post what the hell did our so called scout see in him what we haven't seen?

The talk was he went missing then hey presto he's having an operation.

If he is still in recovery from major surgery he's shouldn't be playing matey nice try though

The pre World Cup mystery really didn't put Roy in a good light as far as I am concerned The benefit of the doubt had me thinking he might be gearing himself up for a big impact with us Yeah Right ha ha

Stood in the West last night chatted to some Roy malcontents who were 'cheering' our boy on with every opportunity Very entertaining

I reckon you all need to watch him a bit more closely then, makes yards after the tackle and stops runners dead when they collide, what do you want him to do, that's his job and if you take the blinkers off you'd see it too, maybe even try to encourage the guy.

Asotasi is just the latest in a long line of established, first grade, international props who have treated our spectators, club and our competition with disdain, arrogance and apathy.

History tells us that the best signings from overseas are hungry, young, promising emergent talents with something to prove, and the desire to up-sticks and cross the world to do it. We have been served well by such players, whilst Asotasi joins the elite club of Roach, Teitzel etc. whose wages are only matched by their laziness.
