| Does anyone think that The RFL will:
1. Relegate Them?
2. Change The Rules?
3. Relegate Widnes & Cas instead?
My money is on 3.

| The bottom 2 will be relegated this season. They will then have an opportunity to come back next season when promotion and relegation are restored.

| If London finish in the bottom two and the RFL were to come up with some Machiavellian means of them avoiding the drop then the credibility of the game would be destroyed, and fans, clubs and sponsors would revolt.
However, the RFL have already preempted this and confirmed they would go down, and based on the evidence thus far that seems a given, so lets hope they stick to it.

| Going down has been softened by the implementation of the 3 x 8 system the season after. Its an easy way back up....I think? ?

| I'm with Marco in the paranoid brigade.
Does anybody really think a northern club like Wigan, Saints or Leeds would get special favours from the RFL the way London do?

Yes they would.
Wigan signed Stuart Feilden for £450000 and the RFL specially registered him with only 10 mins before the kick off against Warrington in 2007.
I’m not to sure but didn't he have a squad number into the 40's?
They also pulled the wool over the RFL's eyes getting Radlinski re - registered saying he was going to play the remainder of the season for NOTHING??!!
The RFL body is a joke!
And to add at the top of the league too the RFL give disposition. ...
They allowed Bradford Wigan St Helens and I think Leeds all to win the SL by cheating the salary cap.
In Australia a team would be stripped of the title and heavily find.
Not here.

| If we don't sign a scrum half that can steer a team around a pitch we could be in the mix at the wrong end of the table if it were me I'D be on the phone trying to talk Micheal Dobson into coming back to super league we are lost without a playmaker and Ratchford Myler O'Brien non of them can do it to the level we need imo
I would like to see Myler and Dobson half backs Ratchford fullback Russel left wing Joel right Centre Evans Left centre Penny right wing

| Padders why would you leave out Bridge and replace him with a right winger?
Even if we did such a bizarre switch surely you would play the right winger at LEFT centre?

| Rugby fans seem to treat London the same way the extreme right wing treat immigrants.
The truth is London had a quota dispensation up until 2009 (I think) so that's at least 5 years of no help from the rfl there, they get an extra 100k on the cap which if you know London is nothing.
What's with the paranoia and blaming London for all the ills of rugby?

| To be honest, if Chris Bridge is the most talented player at Warrington, then this debate on whether Bradford and London will be relegated or not, could very well be pretty redundant come season end, because we could easily take one of those two places.
Bridge is now average, he peaked about 3 seasons ago - Which is a sentiment that could be labelled to quite a few in the squad, which is why we will be fortunate to make the top 5 - I'm surprised that Tony Smith has been so loyal to so many players who, in recent years, have been on a downward slope, form-wise.... Even more surprised that one of the players he did let go, Gareth Carvell, was actually showing his best form at time of his release.
I know its a pretty knee-jerk reaction after just one game, but, at the moment, Smith's judgement, with regard to his squad, is looking to be a tad questionable.
